Bessie Coleman was the first african american female to ever get a license polite to fly an airplane, it took her 7 months to learn how to fly but she was great at it :).The contribution that Bessie made our society how it is today. Bessie was told to attend an international aviation in France so she spent all her savings into learning French and then soon enough arrived to Paris. Bessie also went to France to learn how to fly because they refuse to teach her in america. She knew that there were no aviation nor men or woman, while seven months was going by she was rewarded with a ¨international Polite License¨ in 1921.She Knew that the race needed to be represented in the line and so she though her duty was to learn how to fly and to encourage flying among men and woman for her race, who are far behind the white race. She inspires a lot of people to do there own thing, it doesn't matter what skin color they are they can do whatever your minds says to do.😊

Bessie Coleman was the first African American lady to get a license to fly a plane. She also built the plane in world war one . Bessie Coleman also had to go to Paris to learn how to fly a plane. But she also had to learn how to speak French because Everything that they was teaching Bessie Coleman was int French. I really wonder how she learned how to fly a plane and who was her teacher. I also know it took her seven months to learn how to fly the plane. on the other hand, I hope a lot of people read this story especially lady's and get inspired to fly a plane. For instance I know some girls are scared to fly a plane because they are scared of going high in the air. That's why they were a lot of men flying the airplanes.

The contribution that Bessie Coleman made to our society is that she inspired people to follow their dreams and dodge the barriers flying towards you. And even though she might risk her life doing it, she believes in herself. For example in the text it says," So I thought it's my duty to risk my life to learn aviation and to encourage flying among men and women of our race, who are so far behind the white race in this modern study". Also this shows people to not care about whatever anybody else says, you make decisions for yourself. Another example is that it says,"Coleman was rejected from American aviation schools because of the color of her skin and her sex. She was told to attend an international aviation school in France, so she spent her savings learning French and headed to Paris in 1920". That shows how she contributed to our society.
