One of the great sources of information online.

Wikipedia has its problems - the fact that anyone may edit it can lead to confusion, sometimes funny, sometimes heated, especially where politics are concerned.

Nevertheless, Wikipedia is a valuable resource when one is looking to gain familiarity with a brand new subject. Simple English Wikipedia is even better for trying to understand complex concepts which one may be unused to.

Although I prefer to utilise more traditional resources such as newspapers, magazines, and their online counterparts, I would be lying if I didn't admit that much of my news content filters in through Twitter. Though I always check my sources on other websites, I pay attention to trends on Twitter, often the first sign of a breaking news story - especially in the case of tragedies such as the recent Grenfell Tower fire, or the Ariana Grande concert bombing. When I catch mention of a breaking news story, I head straight to Twitter.
