- The village is a small human community in a rural area and is a place that is larger than a hamlet and smaller than a town.

- Villages usually have a natural beauty to them, and they are simple yet beautiful. Greenfields, Blues skies, Freshwater, and finding an abundance of pure oxygen are its common settings.

- The village constitutes of 500-2500 inhabitants. These settlements congregate the majority of their locality to farms and are clung around a religious place, marketspace, or public area, and some are found to be naturally formed near the river banks or seashores.

- Villages are places that are covered by greenery and they are also sheltered for various animals. Most of their residents are honest and hard-working and possess qualities of brotherhood and unity, and their dwellings are fairly close to one another not scattered.

- Yes, I have experienced its beauty. I feel so lively with its pleasant atmosphere and they enrich the bodily spirits within the self.

- I have been to a village which is a beautiful place with a pleasant environment. It is a perfect paradise of beautiful things and quietness. The sky is always ultramarine. Most of the people who live there are naturally bonded with strong ethical values while being present in each other happiness and sorrows, also they have religious as well as superstitious beliefs. Besides, earlier there were to be more kutcha houses made of clay mud up the scenario has changed to pakka houses made up of concrete. Also, the people of the village are friendlier than the people who live in cities.

A village is mostly located in rural areas, where the population density is low. Usually a village is less developed compared to a town or a city. Villages usually have many farm lands. Most of the area in village is covered with greeneries. The people in village usually live in roof top houses and the walls are mostly made of mud. Nowadays they started moving to terraced houses.
I have been to some villages near my place. The roads there are mostly mud roads and in last few years mud roads are changed to tar roads. Usually the village people do agriculture and farming for their living. There are many cattle farms and poultry farms.

Every farm has a well or two farm land owners share a common well. Also there will be small canals which is the main source of water for their farms. In recent times the ground water level has been decreased and also the water in the well is not sufficient for the farmers. Even there is no water available in the bore well sometimes. The farmers use bullock carts for transportation of their goods. Some of them slowly moved to tractors and modern transport vehicles.

Public transport facility is not very good in villages. Only less number of buses or other means of public transport are available. This is the condition of the villages which I have visited.

If it's place in a normal temperature zone, then we will have many farm lands, green cover, etc., The food that they consume will be mostly cultivated by them in their own fields.

Villages have their own appeal. They carry the pride and heritage of the nation. The life is so simple yet very beautiful. The green farms, wells, joint families, the thatched roofs, hay stacks and the whole environment is a visual treat. It is so different from the urban life but it has it's own beauty.

Every village is an ideal one. I love how people have a simple life in villages. It's not sophisticated enough, but they're happy. They teach us how to lead a simple life. A typical village house is made up of mud walls and thatched roofs. Most of the places are filled with crops and other trees. The roads are narrow and it is very peaceful unlike cities with traffic. The soothing sounds of the birds, wind howling, children playing will be very pleasant to hear.

Most of the farmers own land and they cultivate their crop there. They have common wells and canals, every villager draws water for drinking from there. They own cattle too. A village might lack basic amenities but the open fields and pollution free air is priceless. People have great time in villages, they go to bed early and wake up early. Each and every village is run by "Panchayat" which consists of a group of elders who are very much respected by the people of the village. The villagers have good health and they have a good diet, they eat naturally grown and fresh food. But they need improvements in many fields. With much more care, it'll be a wonderful place to live in. As a part of Live in Labs, I'd love to work in identifying their needs and develop innovative solutions for their betterment.
