This year I've finally ventured outside of the confines of Region 1 to join Region 8 as its student aide and my successor from last year, Samuel "Near" Roussopoulos, is acting as a student aide this year in Region 5.

There are many possibilities for this particular project. Your group could do a cover of a song that already exists or you could create your own completely unique song.

But more than just the melody, to produce the best results you also need the content in your song to be good too. Songs that show a clear understanding of a content may or may not be ranked higher than songs that don't. If my memory serves me correctly, The 3 Amigos(formerly The Five Guys) had the top song in the world 2 years ago despite having semi-tone deaf singing(these are my personal thoughts) because they showed a good understanding of the content.

The Glitter Critters- who stored their money in a safe -were completely unaffected by the great depression, which made them the only nation in region 8 with any money.

During guided notes today they were given the choice to either try to get the money for questions or to pass the question on to the Wiggly Worms and others. Glitter Critters opted to pass the question on each time, allowing their now penniless peers to have an opportunity to grow their fortunes again.

Whether this decision was made because of alliances with nations in the room or not is unclear, and we at ZNNU believe that they may have simply been trying to remain on everyone's good side by opting to pass the questions on.

Will these anxious feelings and paranoia affect the Glitter Critters' judgement?

ZiggyVille has allegedly responded with the condition that CASH ONLY must raise the level of dominance that they hold over region 7 in every way that they can.

The ZNNU eagerly awaits further news of the possible alliance.

We won't leak any plans or conversations but there may be instances of subtle foreshadowing, make sure to read between the lines from now on for clues about their activities.

I spoke with Rama today during lunch and learned that she was "worried that somebody's going to take half of our bank" and that "if somebody does try to take our money then we'll declare war on them and take it back after we win."

This challenge will certainly not be the last time that nations will have the opportunity to take money from another country. However it would be wise to assume that no matter what time in the game that it is, UPZ's promise of war isn't going anywhere.

What exactly is the most in debt nation EVER planning, and could it help them to escape their debt?

We aren't sure as to whether Sneakers have become a military power or not, but it may be in their best interest as it seems UPZ may already be itching for another war after the conflict with Strawberry Shortcakes this afternoon.

On Thursday and Friday nations were visited by the infamous Mr. Ziggy. You may recall King Ziggy from the first semester but- compared to Mr. Ziggy -he was quite a benevolent ruler.

Pretty Princess Mr. Ziggy and his magical-girl-transformation!!!:

Starting with the glove that he wears on his left hand, followed

by his beret and his iconic trench coat. Nations watched as their teacher, Mr. Ziegler- who they all know and tolerate -slowly transformed into the man known as "Mr. Ziggy" who doesn't tolerate anything less than absolute perfection from his people.

The ZNNU doesn't know if Mr. Ziggy will be returning, therefore nations are advised to be prepared for the event in which he does.

Many nations hold negative sentiments towards UPZ and there have even been multiple organizations created that are dedicated to taking them down. Will nations hold a coup d'état against the #1 nation? Or will UPZ remind the world why they're number one?

UPZ is currently engaged in multiple wars and they seem to be continuing down their path of "total domination." Playing a game unlike any that's ever been seen before, the nation is one that has earned its reputation and its first place position on the world leaderboard. However, many other nations resent UPZ for a plethora of different reasons.

Sneakers have gained a large sum of money during the last couple of weeks, their total gains adding up to at least $3M. It's speculated that their economic growth is what put the Sneakers on UPZ's radar and is what ultimately led to this war.

With the Hornets now on Rama’s bad side and little chance of getting in the NATO alliance. Time can only tell how this blunder will affect the Hornets.

Member nations of the alliance that's determined to undermine UPZ, recently surrendered to UPZ in war, and when they received the treaty the first thought in their minds was to find a way to either dishonor it or to avoid signing it completely. Even attempting to declare war on UPZ after gaining a new alliance member who they believed gave them the numbers to defeat the very nation that they had just surrendered to, however ZiggyVille stopped them saying that UPZ was much more powerful than they knew.

Let it be known that the alliance, a total of 7 nations, had a combined total of at least 92 military cards.

UPZ experiences the same anxieties and hardships as other nation, the only difference is the scale, amount, and how visible it is.

Many nations have expressed a dislike for UPZ and we understand why, however- as somebody who has been playing this game since 2022 -it's my belief that the game needs UPZ.

Without UPZ pushing you, it's possible that many of you and your nations wouldn't be thinking about making moves as much as you have been. If we were to compare this year's game to a fire, UPZ would be the accelerant.

UPZ has elevated the level of the game and they have made numerous unprecedented moves, it is our shared belief- mine and my successor's -that if attempts to demerit and/or weaken UPZ are successful and if UPZ remains in their weakened state indefinitely, nations would gradually begin lacking the motivation to come up with and make moves due to the absence of the accelerant that is UPZ. Additionally, there are many who fail to grasp the fact that UPZ experiences the same anxieties and hardships as any other nation, the only difference is the scale, amount, and how visible it is. 

For the furtherment of the game, we believe an unweakened UPZ is necessary. They have provided their fellow nations with reason to change the way they play the game, almost making it a necessity, and have brought many nations together under common goals. New Legacy:META will vote "No, UPZ is not a terrorist state."

Additionally, to any nations aiming to take down UPZ: I think that it would feel much more satisfying to defeat UPZ when they are at full strength than it would if you were to defeat them while they are in weakened state, as it is a much more impressive achievement. Yes it will be more difficult, but that is what will make victory taste so much sweeter if you manage to succeed in your goals.

But this was just the beginning because Rama "Mello" Kifle's nation, UPZ, had many enemies and organizations were formed with the sole intention of bringing about UPZ's downfall. !!! and the 5 nation alliance (Neverland, Strawberry Shortcakes, Sneakers, Cash Only, and Magic Panthers) were both infiltrated while Mello took on the guise of a former student from a previous year. From the start of the !!!, all of the plans that were made in an attempt to try to destroy UPZ were unknowingly being leaked to the leader of UPZ by the plotters themselves.
