Delphine Farmer, a chemist at Colorado University, led a study that found that the best way to minimize air pollution caused by wildfire smoke in homes was by cleaning the floors and surfaces. They tested this by mimicking a wildfire in a test house and testing different cleaning methods. They also opened windows and used air filters which helped lower air pollution levels as well. They found that dusting, vacuuming, and mopping with a special cleaner was the most effective and long-term solution to the problem.

Although electric vehicles are good at observing energy, they still produce a lot of air pollution just like regular cars. Hydrogen-powered cars are a good solution to this as they can generate fuel without emitting harmful things into the air. Since 2015 there have only been three hydrogen-powered cars offered for sale. They are a good solution but they come with a few cons like how hydrogen fuel isn't widely available and is very expensive, hence the fact that there aren't many hydrogen-powered cars available.
