Lastly, Germany was in ruins.<br>You can tell that Germany didn't have a good time at all during/before the war.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Hiroshima the bomb was called "Little Boy" and in Nagasaki it was called "Fat Man".<br>In Hiroshima the city was chosen to be bombed because it was a large port city with an army base, and it had not been severely damaged. In Nagasaki it was not an ideal target because there was an Allies Pow camp nearby. Thick haze made them switch sites. Nagasaki was the home to weapons  production.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Gerda and her mother got arrested by Swiss guards and got held overnight. The next day, they were put on a train with other refugees and none of them told them where they were going or what was going to happen to them. Gerda was interned in a refugee camp in Switzerland for two years, then she worked in Bern in a blouse factory until the end of the war. She immigrated to the United States in 1949 and luckily survived the holocaust.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We aren't sure but we have estimated that about 400 Navajo men served as code talkers for the U.S. marine corps.<br>There are 4 Navajo code talkers that are still alive today. Their names are Thomas H. Begay, John Kinsel Jr., Samuel Sandoval, and Peter MacDonald Sr. They are all over 90 years old.<br>The Japanese Military cracked their code and they stopped using it.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
