My first NTM celebration is represented by a rainbow. Despite the challenges, we were still able to find a way to honor and recognize our teachers. The rainbow also symbolizes hope for achieving our goal to raise teacher quality.

I am grateful for everyone in the NTMCC who went the extra mile to make this year a memorable one for our teachers despite all the challenges. Special shout out to Ms. Det for consistently communicating and updating us every step of the way, and for Sir Romy for tirelessly working till late night or early morning just to ensure everything is in place during the NTMCC celeb. Kudos also to DepEd Region 1 representatives for executing an awesome program! As partners, we get more motivated and excited to come up with programs and initiatives when we are working together with such a dynamic and agile team! =)

Congratulations Everyone! Cheers to new normal year!

Many wanted to cancel 2020. It really hasn’t been the best year in so many ways to say the least.

But we are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in all circumstances. Note that we are to give thanks “in all” and not necessarily “for all”.

As we end this year, let’s endeavor to ask God for the grace to find little things (and maybe big ones too) to praise God for.

The most challenging for us at BBFI was making the decision to NOT do A Tribute to Teachers this year. As we want to prioritize everyone's safety and health, we know that the search and the event have to be postponed. However, as we did our alternative events online, we were able to reach more people this year. Yey!

Despite 2020's COVID-19 pandemic, typhoons, limitations and challenges with a capital C. We hold on to science and one another to overcome all adversities but most importantly we hold on to the One Above to save and take care of us.
