I like the cartoon comic style and it gives some clues to what is in the magazine 

I don’t like this magazine cover as I feel it’s too boring as per first impression. However, I do like the consistency of the title ‘Time’ which is carried out through the company’s magazines. The title stands out to me because of the size presumably. The colour of the title matches the border (the border being another feature on the magazine which I do not like) contrasting the blue superhero outfit the man is wearing (to the left). At first I thought I didn’t like the magazine because there was only one picture on the cover, but after looking at other magazines, take for example the one of Iron Man, I realized I may not like it due to the typography. The size, font, and placement do not feel right to me. The magazine below does a great job at hooking potential readers as the size and font are easy to see, and the placement enhances the picture of Iron Man. I feel that the border on the Time’s magazine enclose the magazine, making it feel restricted, which I do not like. It feels very empty as well as all the captions (which are very hooking) are all placed at the top which differs to the magazine below as the captions are placed around Iron Man. Looking at other Time’s magazines, they are all laid out like this.
