I would not trust a robo-advisor with my money because it lacks the personalised advice that a human advisor can provide. Robo-advisors follow set algorithms and might not adapt well to changes in my financial situation or goals. For complex financial needs, they might not offer the nuanced strategies I require. I also value direct communication with someone who can provide real-time answers and reassurance, especially during market instability.

I would be hesitant to trust my money entirely to a robo-advisor for several reasons. Firstly, robo-advisors often lack the flexibility to adapt to unique or evolving financial situations. Since they operate based on algorithms, they may not respond well if my financial goals or circumstances change. Additionally, they offer limited personalization. While robo-advisors can provide basic financial advice, they don't possess the deep understanding of personal nuances that a human advisor can offer. Life events like starting a family, purchasing a home, or dealing with unexpected career changes require more tailored strategies, which a robo-advisor might not fully grasp

I would not trust my money to a robo-advisor. I find that robo-advisor lack human judgement which i find it very important in a complex financial situation. Robo-advisor runs on algorithms which they might have trouble adapting well to unforeseen circumstances unlike a human advisor. Human advisor is flexible in a way that can foresee the situation and make a accurate move to counter the situation. I would then feel more ease to put my money with a human advisor instead of a robo-advisor.

The world of finance is all about TRUST. Why will you put your money is a stable bank? Or invest in a specific unit trust? Or let a particular fund manager with a good track record manage your hard-earned money? You trust a person or a bank (made up of persons) because you know (or think you know) how this person behaves.

Do we know much about this robo investor? What dataset is it trained on? Is the dataset biased? Can the robo advisor explain its decision? (That's being transparent!) If you know more about the robo trader and its algorithms, data model, you may begin to trust it more.

I, myself, am subscribed to DBS DigiPortfolio, and before I proceed with that, it shows me what would be my projected performance when i set this specific amount to invest for this amount of years, and as I adjust it, the statistics & results would make changes accordingly too. But because DBS DigiPortfolio does collaborate with both humans & robo-advisors, but if is just the robo-advisors AI, I would reconsider my decision because:

Limited Human Interaction: For individuals who value face-to-face communication or personalized advice, the absence of a human advisor can be a drawback.

Market Volatility: Robo-advisors follow set algorithms that may not adapt well to sudden market changes or unique economic conditions, potentially leading to losses during downturns.

Trust in Technology: Some people may be hesitant to trust algorithms with their financial future, preferring human judgment and accountability in financial decision-making.

Understanding Risks: Users must understand the risks associated with their investments and the underlying algorithms, which might require some financial literacy.
