What is a friend? A friend is someone that you can trust anything with, someone who supports you and everything you do, someone that will help you with anything and everything. When choosing a friend you should know what qualities to look for in a friend. Do you want someone who accepts and understands you for you? are you looking for someone who can be honest with you? Honesty in a friendship is very inportant. For you to fit in well with someone it is always good to have the same qualities. Both friends need to develop similar traits for a friendship to grow. “ a friend is someone who helps you out when your down, and if they can’t, the lay down beside you and listen.”

Understand is key to a healthy relationship between you and your parents. Support groups that used to be key in relating with eachother is now outdated because families often don’t live in the same proximity as they used to. The conflict begins with differing opinions on stuff such as how much independence is appropriate for a maturing teen. Negotiations is an important part of a healthy teen adult relationship. This promotes good communication skills. When negotiating consider the following things. What end result do you desire from the discussion? What aspects can you negotiate? Are some aspects more important than others? In families, parents and their adult children become close friends.

 Relationships with Siblings
Siblings can have a very close relationship, and they can also be rivals at times. A sibling can be someone to share experiences and memories together that lasts for life. But some siblings are rivals and fight for their parents attention. Parents have the responsibility to help the siblings get along. Some siblings are different in ages and have self esteem issues and that’s why they start fights for their parents attention. When siblings are close they can learn from and encourage one another. At some points siblings might drift away and spend more time with peers but they will always be siblings. Siblings can become “the core of a strong support group” for eachother.
