Then you should read this book. This book is very interesting because there are cool characters. An example is Winniefred. Winnie has a very controlled life. Her parents and grandmother are always telling her what to do. Eventually, she gets so sick of it, she wants to run away. So she wanders around in the wood, and comes across Jesse. There is something strange about Jesse. He is drinking water out of a spring. Winnie asks for a drink, but he insists that she must not drink out of the spring. If you want to figure out why, you will have to read the book! I think that this is a great book. Then you might want to read this book. Wink is about a boy who gets eye cancer. His name is Ross. Ross does not have a mom. His mom passed away when he was very little from cancer. He knows what cancer can do to a person. Even though he does not have high hopes for his life, he picks up guitar. With one eye open, he has to do school, radiation, and guitar. During radiation, Ross meets Jerry, a grumpy old man who seems to always be annoyed at something. Ross and Jerry are not what you would call best buds at first. But they become pretty good friends in the end. Jerry give Ross the nickname Dime Slot, because of the scar from his past surgery. On top of all this, Abby, Ross's best friend is moving away. And this is a REAL story!
