Theoretical Perspective

The theory that i will use is the theory of learning or cultural social theory. it was developed by Lev vygotsky,(1896- 1934) and it was used to study the way like children learn through social interaction. This theory indicates that _ children learn through the interaction with the environment and the context in which it is found by the link between the people who surrender them which provide support learning address. as applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable (s) as the interaction one another, the games, the communication and collaborative experiments influence or explain the variable variable (s) a better learning of English language because , through social interaction, a better development of learning can be achieved, as well as obtaining knowledge through experience through social activities and group interaction.

It was developed by Noam Chomsky, and it was used to study acquisition of language. This theory indicates that Language is an innate faculty which humans are biologically prepared to develop in contrast to other species. The nativist hypothesis reasons that language faculties emerge as organically as an ability to walk, with children’s brains calibrated to extract content from limited samples of communication. Dedicated linguistic modules are therefore considered a fundamental part of the human genome. As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable age of students to influence or explain the dependent variable how motivation, previous knowledge and cognitive ability because it can be determined that the development of language is preprogrammed in each individual and begins to develop immediately when exposed to the native language. So the exposure to the language used in their environment is the only requirement necessary to put the device into operation and acquire a language. From this theory, it is derived that there are universal principles that govern all human languages, a concept known as Universal Grammar. From a linguistic point of view, the language would be an autonomous faculty, separate from intelligence.

Course: Qualitative and Quantitative Research
Tutor: Claudia Yuliana Ramirez
Date: March 27 2019

The theory that I will use is the theory of interaction. It was developed by George C. Homans (19950), and it was used to study the social behavior of small groups. This theory indicates that considering social conduct as an exchange of goods can clarify the relationships between four bodies of theory: behaviorist psychology, economics, propositions on the dynamics of influence and propositions on the structure of Small groups. As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variables there are no good relationships between my students, co-workers or training relationships or work in small groups to influence or explain the dependent variable(s) behavioral psychology, economics, propositions about the dynamics of influence and propositions about the structure of small groups. Because Given that essays such as sociability, games, coquetry and conversation were Simmel an analyst of elementary social behavior, I will consider him a pre-cursor of what is now known as small group research. Because what really we study in small groups is the elementary social behavior what happens when two or three people are in conditions of influencing one another, the kind of things that ultimately make up those huge structures that we call "classes," "companies," "communities," and "societies."

Name: Diego Alejandro Restrepo S.
Course: Qualitative and Quantitative Research

Tutor: Claudia Yuliana Ramírez

Date: March 23rd, 2019

Theoretical Perspective

The theory that I will use is Second Language Acquisition. It was developed by Stephen Krashen (English Made in Brazil, s.f.), an American linguist, educational researcher, and political activist and it was used to study how the learning process of the second languages occur because Krashen believes that there is no significant difference between the way we acquire our first language and our subsequent languages. He manifests that we have inborn abilities that direct our language learning process.

This theory indicates that the acquisition of a second language occurs from 5 hypotheses (Frankfurt International School, s.f) that the author puts as fundamental: The Acquisition-Learning hypothesis (He exposes two ways to develop language ability: by acquisition and by learning. Acquisition understood as a sub-conscious process, as in the case of a child or an adult that learn the second language simply by living in a foreign place. Learning understood as the conscious process where learning is a result of the formal study); the Monitor hypothesis (language monitoring or self-correcting); the Natural Order hypothesis (Language is acquired in a predictable order by all learners native and who learn a second language); the Input hypothesis (the acquire occur when the learner is exposed to input -written or spoken language-); and the Affective Filter Hypothesis (comprehensible input will not result in language acquisition if that input is filtered. The filtering may occur because of anxiety, poor self-esteem or low motivation).

As applied to my study this theory, I would expect that my independent variable: the effective and adequate elements in the acquisition of a new language, can influence or explain the dependent variable that is the developing of the speaking skill in English as the foreign language with fluency because taking in mind the hypotheses that Krashen highlight as the high motivation, self-confidence and great self- esteem can be channels of the learning and his claims like that the language acquisition does not require extensive use of conscious grammatical rules, it's very interesting to know how the acquisition or learning can be possible and effective.
