Las plantas amazónicas trepan hacia la luz desde la oscura densidad de la selva, los animales de la sabana arriesgan sus vidas en busca del ansiado verdor de las llanuras, el ser humano explora su alrededor para saciar su inherente curiosidad y ofrecer respuestas... y así de esa misma manera, la tarea del docente, implicado con su entorno y con su profesión, debe expandirse más allá de las cuatro paredes de su aula. Esta es mi motivación como participante en un proyecto Erasmus +, recalcando el signo “+” de sumar, de aprender, de aportar, de progresar y dejar mi huella. Salgamos ahí afuera, con ganas e ilusión.

El programa Erasmus+ nos da alas para abandonar nuestra rutina y entrar en contacto con formas muy diferentes de enseñar y aprender idiomas en otros lugares de Europa. Nos abre las puertas a nuevas experiencias, nuevos retos y nos enseña lecciones difíciles de aprender en el aula.

Estoy convencida de que la diversidad, tanto cultural como lingüística, constituye una magnífica herramienta de integración y una fuente de enriquecimiento personal. Mejorando nuestro conocimiento lingüístico y cultural, facilitamos las relaciones humanas, What else?

La EOI Maspalomas, en el marco de su proyecto 4Eu, ofrece por primera vez a alumnado adulto la posibilidad de realizar movilidades para aprendizaje en Europa. Se trata de una gran novedad y oportunidad, que un grupo de 15 personas acaba de disfrutar en Galway (Irlanda).

El proyecto 4Eu (acrónimo de: EOI, gracias a Erasmus+ desde España a Europa) es una nueva apuesta para internacionalizar la EOI y darle visibilidad en Europa gracias a diferentes acciones, entre las cuales destacarán este año las movilidades de alumnado. Las becas están destinadas prioritariamente a participantes de baja cualificación, y en todos los casos con menos oportunidades.

El destino del primer grupo ha sido Galway (Irlanda), lugar en el que han pasado una semana acompañados por profesorado del centro y alojados en familias, realizando varias actividades (clases, seminarios, visitas culturales) en colaboración con Atlantic Language, que se ha demostrado un fantástico colaborador en el destino.

La avalancha de fotos, videos y comentarios de participantes en sus perfiles y RRSS muestran agradecimiento y emoción, confirmando que se trata de una experiencia enriquecedora y inolvidable.

En esta aventura he aprendido que tenemos que buscar más tiempo para nosotros mismos, sin descuidar lo demás ....Que no estamos solos porque siempre aparece gente maravillosa cuando menos te lo esperas que te alegran el día sin ellos si quiera saberlo, depende de ti dejarlos entrar en tu vida o hacerte a un lado..... Que conocer idiomas es una bonita forma de conocer culturas y que nunca es tarde para aprender cosas nuevas. También descubrí, la generosidad que puede tener el ser humano al abrirte las puertas de su hogar, dejarte entrar en ese sagrado lugar donde todos nos sentimos siempre a salvo, yo con mis niñas y mi madre irlandesas me he sentido como en casa, SON TODO AMOR Y BONDAD....Podría seguir diciendo muchisimas cosas bonitas porque todo lo que me llevo es precioso chic@s....❤️OS QUIERO.....😍

Now that I am back home, I sit back, reflect and write about this trip: I have said it and I will say it many times, Ireland is a beautiful and magical country. The people are lovely, friendly and make you feel at home. Thank you Eoi Maspalomas and Erasmus+ for this educational and social experience, which has allowed me to expand my cultural and educational knowledge. I will never stop being grateful to those who have worked so hard for me and my classmates to have so many good memories of an unforgettable trip.Thanks to my host family for taking care of me, for letting me be part of your family for a week, for making me feel at home. Thank you for not judging me, for giving me love and support. Here you will have a friend forever. With this written, I put an end, always with a smile, to my trip with Erasmus+ and Eoi Maspalomas. To both of them, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To my host family and to Ireland, see you soon, I hope to return one day to this beautiful land and meet again with its people and my family in Ireland, to whom I am waiting for you in Gran Canaria with open arms.
