My highest score was the "Social Occupational Interest" while this could be true it came as a huge shock to me as I hate being social and I can be a very awkward person when I am. But I think when it comes to work I have no choice but to be social especially my job where im constantly interacting with patients and teaching them stuff so this fits my job description very well.

My highest scores were "Investigative" at 8, "Conventional" at 7, and "Social" at 5. One thing I've noticed taking these tests is that I like the social aspect of everything when it comes to helping people and getting jobs. I like interacting with patients which is weird seeing I'm not a social person when it comes to family and friends. I see myself being investigative as I like to investigate and solve stuff. Some of my favorite things to watch on TV as well are investigative shows that involve detectives and FBIs. That stuff is very interesting to me. Being conventional also made sense considering I'm an ordinary, basic person. Id say this test was very similar to the first test.

Experiencing "flow" - Question 3

The one thing that really excites me is shopping. I use to hate shopping and going to the mall but now that I'm older all I wanna do during my free time is shop. I love shopping for clothes, skincare, makeup. All the girly essentials. I could have the worst day ever but the moment I do a little shopping I'm up and all good again. My favorite time to shop though is in the fall. Fall is my favorite season, I love shopping for fall stuff, even the clothes I shop for are better in the fall. I also experience "flow" when I think about Autumn its self. Everything about the season excites me. The fall scents, the vibes, the weather, my birthday is also in the fall as well as my moms and 2 of my brothers. My favorite holiday is in the fall (thanksgiving).

"live life to the fullest" - Question 4

The one piece of information that I learned from these two chapters that made me want to live my life to the fullest is the many diseases that are common as we age. Alzheimer's disease for example found in chapter 14 on page 411. We see it happen to the people we love and take away their life just like dementia as well on chapter 14 page 411. Knowing there's a possibility of me getting that when I'm older makes me want to do everything possible to enjoy my life while i'm young. Many of my patients at work always tell me live your life to the fullest while you're young and i'm finally understanding why they say that constantly. I try to put my self in their shoes and really take that saying to heart.

"Real age quiz" - Question 5

My "real age" is 18 years old and 10 months which is amazing considering I'm 20. I got a younger age because of the amount of sleep I get and I'm not a smoker. This makes me happy considering I've always felt like a 50 year old. What made me older though is lack of physical activity, as well as high stress. Decrease in consuming vegetables and fruits also made me older which is something I need to work on.

According to this calculator I am going to live up to 86 years old. Seems fair enough I thought it'd be younger than that but I do see myself living till that age. Theres one thing I learned. I also learned that I could add physical acuity to my daily life to have a higher number.

Ideal Life stage - Question 7

The most ideal life stage from the stages we learned throughout the chapter would definitely be "emerging adulthood". While all stages of life are hard and you are going through something or dealing with something through all stages the emerging adulthood is the most ideal. I say this because this is the time you are growing and changing for the better. You are becoming independent in many ways by moving out, finding the love of your life, going to college, getting married. This is the life stage where many milestones happen. You are growing and changing a lot. While it can be very hard because you also lose a lot of people you love and have to deal with adulting it could all be very rewarding in the end. Your brain is also finishing up developing in those first years of emerging adulthood. You learn and grow a lot I've seen it happen with myself. Im only 20 and just in the past 2-3 years I've seen so much change happen in my life. The good the bad but also a lot of rewarding stuff as well, that'll only make me a better person and shape me for the future. The ages 18-29 isn't easy. You lose friends, you make mistakes, you fall, you fail, you realize things, you hit reality, you lose yourself, you go through different phases of insecurity, loneliness, and frustration, you go through heartbreaks. But all this teaches you lessons in the end and prepare you for real life.

The one main thing I liked about this semester/class is Mrs Buchanan. No i'm not just saying that I loved how gentle, understanding, kind, and patient she is. Having a good professor is number one key to a great semester and I got lucky. There isn't anything I would change about this class. the only thing I hated and would've done differently is take this class during the fall/winter semester I know I would've enjoyed it more and definitely spent more time on it then I should have this semester. I feel like I would've also been less stressed if I took the longer semesters with it. Overall the assignments on achieve were very easy to do. The discussion boards were stressful to do but only because this is a shorter semester and we have to get them done besides they make up for the easy assignments we get on achieve. Thanks for a great semester Mrs Buchanan. :)
