Disillusion is a feeling of disappointment resulting from the discovery that something is not as good as one believed it to be World War 1 caused disillusion with the Versailles treaty. 

Art and literature caused philosophers and writers to question accepted ideas about reason and progress art and literature also reflected on peoples traditional religious beliefs.  

Women took place politics, the home, the work place, and in education some were result of new laws passed and newly developed technologies.

On August 6, one of the bombs which was named little boy was dropped on Hiroshima. Three Dayan later on August 9, the other bombers called fat man was dropped on Nagasaki. The bombs might not have hit the targets they were supposed to hit but they still affect the 2 cities they hit. about 200,000 died in the first bomb and about 70,000 in the second one. The excuse the U.S used to use the bombs were that it would end the war much faster and it would work as unconditional surrender.
