I found learning the Sasa dance combination pretty easy because you only have to make sounds with your hands by hitting or slapping your body or your surroundings. The tempo might be fast for some and that might be a little more challenging. But otherwise, its a pretty fun dance to learn. What I liked about it was how you use your hands to make different sounds by what surface you hit/slap because this brings a different type of feeling to the world. I rarely see dances that includes hitting your body with your hands. This was a very unique experience for me.

I found learning the Sasa dance easy because all you had to do was match what the teacher was doing and have a good rhythm. All you did was have to memorise the movements and sync we only use our hands it's easier to memorize and perform. "monkey see monkey do". What I liked about it was that we got to perform as a group and it made it sound very nice kind of like a mini orchestra of claps, hits and slaps. I also enjoyed doing the canon because it made the whole thing sound not only cooler but also nice, it was also a nice challenge because you had to do the same movements but at different times which could sometimes be challenging to keep your rhythm.

I saw that i was mostly on beat and that even when it was the cannon I was on beat. The easiest part was to learn the choreography because once you got the hang of things all you have to do is be on the beat which I personally is harder. I like the cannon more because I think it sounds satisfying and because it is more fun. For me it is effective to contrast clapping fast and slow with my hands when we do clap clap po. I also found tapping my hand in the rhythm of the metronome to keep me synced with the beat.

I've found learning salsa combinations quite challenging at times, as it requires a lot of coordination and rhythm. When I first started, I often found it difficult to keep up with the music.

However, I really enjoy salsa dancing because it's so energetic and passionate. Dancing makes me feel happy and allows me to enjoy quality time with my friends.

I watched my movements. While they weren’t particularly excellent, they were pretty good overall. There were also differences between the first video and the second one, and I preferred the second one because I made a mistake in my movements and there was a slight pause in the first one, whereas the second one was relatively smoother.

Some of the movements were really good, and my sense of rhythm was on point every movement was right on the beat.

I saw rhythm between beats and how you can tell a story with elements and levels. I like the canon more because it felt like 2 groups dancing in the same rhythm but different times, and that made me feel like we could do more than that. I think the most effective movement for me is when we reach above our heads and clap 5 times. There is one time my group clapped first, and when we were on the 4rth clap, they just started clapping, and we clapped at the same time.

Activities commonly seen in Samoan Sasa which appeal to me include, rowing a boat because it is a fun exercise that anyone can do, hammering or working because there are a lot of movements which could be done to get this message across. I also like the cooking movements, beating mats, and brushing the ground movements because they reflect large parts of life.

Activities I enjoy are playing basketball, rugby, cricket, playing my bass, and running. I could probably turn these into movements like for basketball it could be dribbling the ball, or passing a rugby ball, or hitting a cricket ball. The changes I made were making some movements simpler than usual. For example, the first movement of my dance originally used my hand to cross over my leg. After my formative feedback, I changed it to just tapping my hand on my knee and flipping it.

This made my dance better because it more easier to copy if you don't know the dance, and also I could memorise it more effectively.
