First day in Malaysia

The first day I arrived in Kuala Lumpur, my boyfriend and two good friends in my high school came to the airport to pick me up. It made me feel warm because it is the first time for me to go aboard for study. Their company made me feel not alone alone even though I left home. We went to the KLCC to have a dinner at night, but I was too tired so we didn’t get to enjoy the downtown.

Check in my residence

I went to check in my residence in the next day when I arrived Malaysia. I rent a studio where is not quite near to the university because the prices are too high near the school and I would not like to live with some strangers. Fortunately, I can take the BRT to go to campus although I have to walk a short distance. I used to try to call the grab to school but the prices in the morning is too high which is two or three times in the normal. Because of that, it’s becoming acceptable to walk some distance.

First day in sunway

The first day I went to school to check in is not smoothly because my original intake date is in April. The officer told me it is too early and asked me if I want to be the student enroll to the January intake class. I am glad to study now to improve my English level and I went to do the medical check in the next day and pay the tuition fees as well as submit the passport to the international office. Hope I can pass the English program early and go for my Bachelor’s degree.

The first day I started my IEP was in Friday, I found the teachers are professional and friendly,. It’s my first time to be taught in all English and can understand almost what the teachers said. But the speaking is a little difficult for me and I believe I should try to speak English to others because it’s the best way to improve it. In the afternoon, I took the CCC, and I painted using the vegetables. I feel it’s really funny and interesting.

Bad dream

Today I had a really scary nightmare. I had a dream that my best friend from high school turned into a psychopath. Even though I knew it wasn't true, I woke up in the middle of the night terrified and didn't fall back asleep for a long time. This is the first nightmare I've had since I came to Malaysia. After that, I kept the light on and after a long while I fell asleep.

Today I watched a movie at home which is called Article 20. It is a Chinese film and is related to the law of China. The movie explains the weaknesses of some of China's legal provisions but this was eventually improved by a number of events. I used to want study the Law in the university but finally I find I am more interested in the psychology area. Even though, I also like to learn something about the law and movies as my part time hobby.

Shopping day

I went to a new shopping mall with my boyfriend which is called TRX. I heard that the first Apple Direct Store in Malaysia was built here. So I’d like to go to hang out here. Unfortunately, it is not opened yet but the shopping mall is excellent and I customized a short sleeve with a unique pattern at Uniqlo. My boyfriend also bought a satisfied shirt and we also had dinner at a very good Taiwanese restaurant.

Harry Potter

Today I try to read my read my favorite novel Harry Potter in English. I want to improve my English reading ability in this way. This way is interesting although it was difficult for me to understand all of it, I managed to learn a lot of new vocabulary by combining bits and pieces as I remembered them. I decided to stick with this method for at least half an hour a day.

Have a dinner with new friends

Today I had dinner with my boyfriend's best friend who I met in Malaysia. He is a Malaysian Chinese and I used to hear my boyfriend talk about him a lot. He said he got a lot of help from him when he first came here, and meeting him today did reveal him to be a great guy, including his girlfriend likewise. They took us to a really good local food, just the best food I've had since I've been here.

My Favorite Chinese Book

When I arrived in Malaysia, I brought a Chinese novel called Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which is known as one of the Four Great Masterpieces of China, and I read it in junior high school. He as my favorite traditional novel, and I love to open it up again in my free moments to read it.

Shopping In Jenting Highlands

It's my dream Saturday and my friend and I are meeting up to go shopping at Genting Highlands! I got a lot of super cheap short sleeves on sale at the mid-mountain outlet and took the cable car up to the top. I didn't get into the outdoor amusement park because it was too late, so I'm looking forward to coming back next time!
