Narcissus

Narcissus contributes to the theme of the story (don't punish others for your issues) by showing that if Hera did not punish Echo for her problems, Narcissus wouldn't have bothered Echo and Echo wouldn't have died. In the story, this was when Narcissus did not let Echo touch him or have a relationship with him, so much that Echo died. Echo wouldn't have even seen Narcissus if Hera didn't put a spell on her that made her not be able to say whatever she wants. That is how Narcissus contributed to the theme of the story.

I feel bad for Echo because she didn't do anything wrong, she just liked to talk. She probably did not even know that Zeus was using her to distract Hera. Hera shouldn't have taken her anger toward Zeus out on Echo. Echo did not deserve to die because of someone else's issues, which is not fair at all.

I am wondering many things in my book. I am wondering if Jaiden will ever really get a girlfriend that he likes, not just to impress his managers. I also wonder when Jaiden's managers will start leaving him alone and let him do what he wants? Jaiden is in high school, and it is almost time for him to start figuring out colleges. Will he even go to college? Will his managers pick what college he goes to? Will they make his decisions for him his entire life? I like this book because you always have a lot of questions, but they always end up getting answered eventually. I know I say this a lot, but I feel bad for Jaiden because he is always being watched over by a group of managers.

For my image, I took a picture of a page of my book. I took this picture because on this page, many of my previous questions were answered. One of these questions was how NECorp decided on Jaiden's name. This page explained that they brought in specialists and different companies to find a good first name for him. His last name, however, was the only thing that he got from his parents besides DNA. Jaiden's parents died 2 days after they brought him home, and they didn't name him yet. Another question that was answered was, "How did Jaiden's parents die?" Well, on this page, the author explained that they were using a product and it failed, making half of their home blow up. The parents were on one side of the home, while Jaiden was on the other.

Rikki Tikki Tavi

I think that Rikki Tikki is a very brave mongoose. He always protected Teddy and his family in the story. He didn't give up when he struggled fighting Nag or Nagaina, he kept on fighting for his own life, and the family's lives. I guess Rikki did this so he wouldn't let down his human family or his mongoose family. Rikki Tikki was a real hero in the story because he saved multiple lives, with take a lot of courage and bravery. Now that the cobras are gone from the garden, I wonder what Rikki Tikki will do to keep him on his feet? Maybe he will face another challenge, or maybe he will get to spend more time with Teddy and his parents. Rikki Tikki might even go try to find his biological family, you never know. We never will know, unless there is a story called Rikki Tikki Strikes Again.
