One part that confused me was Anne’s relationship with her mom. Sometimes Anne gets really upset with her mom and feels like she doesn’t understand her. But then later on she feels guilty and wishes they were closer.

A connection I have with Anne Frank is when she talks about feeling misunderstood. she writes about how she feels like her family doesn't understand her. I can relate to this because sometimes I feel like people around me don't get what I'm going through.
