As a class we review what a whole sentence consists of, and give examples to students as to what would be a complete sentence for a question I pose, versus what would not be. </p>]]></description>

Using KWL charts to gauge students previous background knowledge and hopefully to pique interest of students. Focusing on essay writing aligned with ACCESS testing: narrative, informative, argumentative, and explanatory. In these writings they will focus on specific academic writing styles for each type of writing. </p>]]></description>
