🗓️ Weekend Itinerary

🚌 Day 1 – Saturday

• 07:00 AM – Depart from Concepción by van

• 10:30 AM – Arrive in Puerto Saavedra and check-in at Cabañas Dunas del Mar

• 11:30 AM – Walk along the coast and explore the Budi Lake viewpoint

• 01:00 PM – Lunch at El Fogón de Saavedra (local seafood)

• 03:00 PM – Visit Museo Mapuche to learn about indigenous culture

• 05:00 PM – Free time at the beach (optional volleyball or sunset walk)

• 08:00 PM – Dinner and group hangout in the cabins

🌄 Day 2 – Sunday

• 08:30 AM – Breakfast at the cabin

• 10:00 AM – Kayaking on Budi Lake (for those who want adventure)

• 12:30 PM – Picnic lunch by the lake (bring your own snacks!)

• 02:00 PM – Group discussion and photoshoot with scenic views

• 04:00 PM – Pack and clean up

• 04:30 PM – Depart back to Concepción

• 08:00 PM – Arrival in Concepción

💬 Justification

We chose Puerto Saavedra because it’s close to Concepción, affordable, and offers both cultural and outdoor activities. One of us prefers relaxing by the beach, another wanted something sporty, and we all wanted to learn more about Mapuche culture. We tried to balance nature, learning, and fun in our plan, and stayed within the budget.
