I  think the most important setting was at Beecher Prep because Auggie’s first time going to a school was there and he met so many new friends. At Beecher Prep Auggie faced many different problems. The school environment is very good for Auggie because I think the challenges he faced helped him to get where his is now. Now he has many friends and people who will support him. His home environment was also very good because he got treated very well by many people. Via states , “August is the Sun. Me, Mom ,and Dad are the planets orbiting the Sun. The  rest of our family and friends are asteroids and comets floating around the planets orbiting the Sun.” This quote means that everyone’s actions revolve around Auggie’s deformity. I really did not like the end of the book because I thought there could be more. I thought that if there was more it would be something like, introducing a new character ,Auggie achieving one of his dreams, or even getting something he wanted for a long time that had a huge story behind it.For Example,  there could be a character that was always mentioned but, that was never really apart of anything in the story. This is what I thought on the ending of the book “Wonder.”

Another reason it relates to this novel is because when Summer just sat down next to August she did not act disrespectful to August she acted as she would want someone to act to her if she had the same deformity.

This theme means if you try your hardest you will most likely get  good result but, if you don’t put in a lot of effort you with most likely not get a good result. I think this relates to this novel because in one part of the book Jack states “I once got 2 points off a homework assignment because I didn’t put the date on top”(151).Jack did not put the effort to do the work the write way so he got points off.

So I would give the book a five star rating. The books title is “Wonder” and the author is R.J Palacio .I would have to say that this book is mainly about a boy who has a facial deformity and he has trouble in the beginning of the his school year but then he makes friend s and is no more ashamed of his abnormibilty. Moving over to the strengths of this book. I think a strength of this book is how it has different point of views so that the reader can understand what is happening better and to get a visual on how the characters look and feel. I think one of the books weaknesses was is way of grammar in Justin’s point of view but, other than that I think that I w3ould recommend this book to kids 10 and up. I would absolutely recommend this book to others because this is a story that can teach  huge lesson in life.
