         <title>A Basic Understanding of Energy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before we begin, we must acquire at the minimum a rudimentary understanding of the vocabulary and the definition of said-vocabulary that pertains to the context of this topic, with these words being, “Energy”, “Work”, and “The Law of Conservation of Energy”. To begin, within the context of this conversation, energy is defined as the aptitude to accomplish labor, with labor, or work, being defined as, the act of applying a form of force, in this case energy, onto an object, with the intention to displace it or cause some sort of action within or around it. Lastly, The Law of Conservation of Energy is a scientific doctrine that is generally applied to anything within this field of study, this law, being defined as and I quote, “The total energy of an isolated system remains constant; it is said to be conserved over time.” Additionally, it should be noted the similarities of this law in comparison with The Law of Conservation of Mass and Matter.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Types of Energy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Even though we have concluded our basic understanding of energy, an equally as important factor of energy has still yet to be explained, of which, is that within potential energy, or energy that is stored, and kinetic energy, energy in motion, is various different iterations of this energy, defined by where this energy is happening. Listed below are types of energy, and their corresponding definitions.<br><br><strong>Mechanical Energy<br><br></strong>—An umbrella term for various instances of kinetic energy, with the majority of this instance being labeled during mechanical processes, for instance, a hammer hitting a nail. This variation is by far the most common type of energy.<br><br><strong>Electrical Energy<br><br></strong>—Better known as simply, electricity, this energy is present when particles become charged. Clusters of these charged particles is known as static electricity, this can be physically exemplified by the small “shocks” felt whilst going down a plastic slide in broad daylight.<br><br><strong>Sound Energy<br><br></strong>—Energy that travels on waves. It is formulated by vibration, and cannot travel or manifest without a medium, such as water or air. This is arguably the second most common form of energy, with its presence being exemplified by occurrences such as speaking, clapping, to fireworks.<br><br>&nbsp;<strong>Thermal Energy<br></strong><br>—Energy pertaining to heat, and manifests via friction, radiation, decay, and various other fabricated and natural events. Examples include the Sun, rubbing hands together, or an aircraft carrier catapult. (Rapid friction from the catapult launching the aircraft creates steam.)<br><br>&nbsp;<strong>Radiant Energy<br><br></strong>—Also known as light energy, exists on all wavelengths of both the visible and invisible light spectrum, such as UV light, electromagnetic waves, radio transmissions.<br><br>&nbsp;<strong>Chemical Energy<br><br></strong>—Energy that is stored within the bonds of atoms, and is used to keep them together. During events such as the addition of thermal energy or radiant exposure, certain atoms react to these interactions, prompting the usage of this energy.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The Truth Behind Energy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With a natural force as broad and often unpredictable as energy occurring essentially everywhere around us, various misconceptions and notions have been formulated since the time of its discovery, and now we will delve into the truth of energy, and dispelling any false information of such.<br><br>Perhaps the most important rule of energy is that it can change, but not be simply created. This means, that when an event happens, for example a rollercoaster, the potential energy gained at the top of a ramp in the coaster will convert to kinetic energy on its way down. Conversely, energy cannot be created nor destroyed as there is simply no way for it to do so, as the things of this world can only capacitate harnessing and repurposing the energy. Lastly, occurrences in nature can release more than one type of energy, as exemplified in a campfire, chemical energy is released as gas incinerates the molecules of wood, consequentially creating light because of this reaction.</div>]]></description>
