         <description><![CDATA[<p>Past lover of Helena now is trying to marry Hermia much to the dismay of Helena but to the joy of Egeus although Hermia hates this union and would much rather be with her lover Lysander.</p><p><br></p><p>In Act 3 he comes under the effects of the love spell and falls back in love with Helen although she thinks its a ploy to make a mockery of her. He fights Lysander (Also under love spell) for Helena's love.</p><p><br></p><p>Although Lysander is cured of the love spell, Demetrius is not and stays in love with Helena for the whole play.</p><p><br></p><p>"Relent, sweet Hermia; and , Lysander, yield they crazd title to my certain right."(1.1, 95-96)</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Past lover of Demetrius and tries to pursue him doing everything she can to make him fall for her.</p><p><br></p><p>In the third act Lysander and Demetrius (both under love spells) fall for her and pursue her. She believes that she is being mocked by them and Hermia</p><p><br></p><p>She makes a speech of her and Hermia's broken friendship leading them to fight.</p><p><br></p><p>Eventually they all wake up believing it to be a dream and she gets with Demetrius and they get married.</p><p><br></p><p>"Wherefore was I to this keen mockery born?<br>When at your hands did I deserve this scorn?<br>Is ’t not enough, is ’t not enough, young man,<br>That I did never, no, nor never can,<br>Deserve a sweet look from Demetrius’ eye,<br>But you must flout my insufficiency?"(2.2, 124-129)</p><p><br></p><p>"Is all the counsel that we two have shared,<br>The sisters’ vows, the hours that we have spent<br>When we have chid the hasty-footed time<br>For parting us? He awaits gleely for the marriage much to the dismay of Hippolyta who does not want this union.</p><p><br></p><p>Theseus' keeps trying to one up Hippolyta as if to prove himself better than her although she quickly corrects this behavior.</p><p><br></p><p>Hippolyta seems happy with the marriage after act 3 and warms up to Theseus</p><p><br></p><p>"Now, fair Hippolyta, our nuptial hour<br>Draws on apace. Four happy days bring in<br>Another moon. But, oh, methinks how slow<br>This old moon wanes. She lingers my desires,<br>Like to a stepdame or a dowager<br>Long withering out a young man’s revenue"(1.1, 1-6)</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Fairy king of the woods and wedded to Titania. Their marriage has greatly suffered as an Indian boy who they have been taking care of has greatly rocked the relationship as Titania dotes on the boy treating him with much kindness however Oberon wants to raise the boy as a knight and loyal servant to him causing relationship issues. Eventually Oberon puts a love potion on Titania and takes back the Indian boy however he realizes that what he really wanted all along was to fight with Titania as he loved doing so leading him to removed the spell and fixing the marriage.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Part of the rude mechanicals and playwright who was set to play as Pyramus in the play Pyramus and Thisbe however due to Pucks intervention he is turned into a donkey and a Titania(under love spell) falls in love with him.</p><p><br></p><p>Nick Bottom accepts this love and grows more egotistical</p><p><br></p><p>When Titania is given the antidote she falls out of love with Nick Bottom and he is re-turned to a human state believing it was all a dream</p><p><br></p><p>He returns to the mechanicals and does the play for the nobles in act V</p><p><br></p><p>"That will ask some tears in the true performing of it. If I do it, let the audience look to their eyes; I will move storms;I will condole in some measure. To the rest: yet my chief humor is for a tyrant. I could play Ercles rarely, or a part to tear a cat in, to make all split."(1.2, 18-21)</p><p><br></p><p>"I have a device to make all well. Write me a prologue; and let the prologue seem to say we will do no harm with our swords, and that Pyramus is not kill'd indeed; and for the more better assurance, tell them that I Pyramus am not Pyramus, but Bottom the weaver.
