How did this first "week" go for you? Was the online platform challenging? Why or why not? What could Mr. Burr have done better?

• I think this first week went great for me. I spread the first week's assignments out over a two-week period, which really helped me understand the content as I gave myself more time. I would say that the online platform was not very challenging because I am pretty much used to it at this point. I have a lot of experience with online classes and this class was very well put together. I honestly don’t think Mr.Burr could have done much better. I felt that all the assignments were easy to understand and there were in-depth instructions given for all of our tasks. 

What was the most valuable thing you learned this week? Why?

• I think the most valuable thing I learned this week was how to use the Imovie platform. I am not comfortable and familiar with the Imovie interface, which in my opinion is very valuable. I find interest in making videos and now that I know about all the tools that Imovie has to offer I feel like I can be much more creative and improve the quality of my content. 

How were the Skillshare tutorials? What did you like or not like about them?

• I thought the Skillshare tutorials were very helpful and informative. They were easy to follow and broke up the learning process into several different steps, which helped me. I like how each section of the tutorial was labeled, so I could easily find what I wanted to learn. I also felt like they did a great job keeping me engaged throughout the lesson.

How did you feel about the Capture a Location project? What went well? What could go better? 

• I felt that the capture a location project was very enjoyable and that it went pretty well. I was able to film all of my shots in the same place on the same day with the help of my brother, which worked out well for me. I had a fun time brainstorming different shots and angles for clips in my project. Filming a video centered around basketball was very fun and exciting for me. This project did also have a negative. This would be that my Vimeo account was banned after I accidentally uploaded the same video multiple times. It removed all the videos from my account and I think it took my videos out of the mobile media group. I made a new account to try and add my video back to the group, but I am waiting for approval to join. 
  
  

Do you feel like you have a basic understanding of iMovie and shooting video on your phone? Why or why not?

• I feel that I definitely have a basic understanding of iMovie and shooting videos on my phone. This week has taught me countless tips, tricks, and skills that have given me much greater knowledge and understanding of those platforms. The Skillshare course on iMovie greatly helped me with this. I feel comfortable editing on iMovie and I feel that I know how to get the most out of my phone now. I also have a better understanding of angles and the different types of shots I can use.

How did this second week go for you? What was challenging?  What could Mr. Burr have done better?

• This second week went well for me. I thought it was a bit more challenging than the previous week, but it was still very manageable. I enjoyed learning the process behind planning a video. The assignments took a bit more time this week, but they were not to long and tedious. I honestly think Mr.Burr did an excellent job this week and I didn’t see any areas for improvement.

What was the most valuable thing you learned this week? Why?

• In my opinion I think the most valuable thing I learned this week was how to make a shot list. This is because it greatly helped me prepare my video. It helped me organize my thoughts and allowed me to break up the creation process into multiple steps. I will be able to use my newly learned shot list on future projects, which I think will have a very lasting impact for me. 

How did you feel about the Life in Seconds Project & Pre-Production? What went well? What could go better?

• I felt very good about the Life in Seconds Project & Pre-Production. I enjoyed planning out and making my video this week. I think my shot list went fairly well and I was able to complete it fairly quickly. I also think the production of my video went very well. It was very efficient due to the help of my shot list and storyboard. The video also came out to exactly thirty seconds on my first try. The storyboard took quite a while and I did face some problems trying to print the template out. Even though I faced these challenges I was still able to complete it as well. I also could have done a better job showing the different shots through the images on my storyboard.
