1. Being recognized to attend a leadership academy with the high point police department which a big help in my personality I have today. I am more open minded and I like being around people more.( the picture on the bottom)

2. I was Salutatorian in my 8^th grade class which probably is not that big in your eyes but it was important to me because it gave me a confidence boost moving in to high school that I can go the extra mile and aim higher next time.

3. Another achievement I accomplished is winning 1^st place in a writing contest about black history, it was for North Carolina A&T State University. I play the trumpet at T.W. Andrews High School, and I LOVE it! I’ve been playing the trumpet for 3 years. But I can’t read sheet music, which is sad…and it takes me a little longer to catch on. Leadership is not just that it is loyalty, honesty, confidence, imagination, trust, determination, belief, maturity, understanding, compromise, and much more. You have to be loyal to the people you lead, you cannot promise people light and then lead them into the dark that also goes into honesty, you basically just lied to them giving false information. If you lead people you have to be confident, you cant lead not thinking you can accomplish your goal that also goes with belief, you cant lead not having faith that you can do it. To be a leader you have to have imagination, you can’t think that your own ideas will always work you have to think outside the box or use your peers for help. You need to be able to trust that everyone is not going to back stab you. You need to be determined and work hard to be a leader, if you lack the effort then what is the point of fighting when you’re not really trying. You should try to understand the people you are fighting against, see it from their point of view also understand the people you’re fighting with. Last but not least if you get exactly what you want then you should be able to make a deal until you can find another way to get what you think is fair. Leaders we know now is Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Barack Obama. All believed that they could make a difference in the world either by accident or intentionally.
