It should have that input for the participant– one which can be implemented right away to make a “magical change” in the professional space rather than speaking of ideas which may make big changes in the far future. 
2        Practical oriented and context based - The program should be practical which can be implemented in multiple learning opportunities and also should be relevant to the context.
3        Engaging and Enjoyable: Professional development needs to be active and engaging with a bit of entertainment factor too – a platform which can create a space to recharge ourselves during our busy schedule before preparing for a professional  improvement.
4        Self Directed and Reflective –Professional development needs to be directly linked to a factor which can set aim and motivate the participant to complete it successfully with a specific goal while going through a journey of professional challenges. Effective PD should create a space for the participants to think and reflect upon their own achievements and improvements required.
5        Enhance Collaboration: This should up bring a better communication and collaboration among the participants – a space or common platform to share ideas, experiences and knowledge without competition.
