The new world opened to me, I used to think how vast the world is. I used to think about the languages, people, dresses and places of these countries. so, that was the time when the new world opened to me,

MOST IMPORTANT SDG FOR ME:

For me, the most important SDG that should be achieved by 2030 is “NO POVERTY”. It is important for me as many people in Pakistan are even under the line of poverty. Most governments and social service agencies have their definitions of poverty, including how it is measured and who is considered protruding how it is measured and who is considered poor.

REASONS:

It depends on where the person lives, how much necessities cost there, and how much money the other people in their community have. To decide what counts as poverty and what does not, experts have come up with the poverty line. The poverty line, or poverty threshold, is generally defined as the minimum level of income necessary to maintain a decent standard of living, either within one country or region or worldwide. People lack enough food, safe and drinkable water, proper sanitation facilities, homelessness, lack of educational facilities, joblessness and many other fundamental needs to spend life. People have less income and more expenses.

APPLICABLE METHODS/POLICIES/PROGRAMMES TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL:

No one has yet found a perfect solution to help people, communities, or countries escape from the clutches of poverty, but some strategies have been found to help. The more societies understand the cycle of poverty, the more likely they are to be able to overcome the worst of its ill effects and the more likely it is that the world will become a more economically equal place. One approach to combating poverty is to search for practical and inexpensive ways to solve the challenges of everyday life. People living in impoverished regions often face challenges meeting basic needs— water must be carried for long distances, food must be preserved, and fuel must be gathered and stored for cooking. Each year, the International Development Innovation Network (IDIN) brings people together from around the globe in a month-long International Development Design Summit. The purpose of the summit is to design technological solutions to problems that plague the developing world.

HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION

By the day of independence from British colonial rule on August 14, 1947, 85% of the Pakistan population was illiterate, and the condition of women and backward areas was even worse.

FIRST STEP TOWARDS EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT IN PAKISTAN:

One of Pakistan's first steps towards education development was the National Education Conference in 1947. In 1951, a conference for educational development was held to adopt a six-year plan for the period 1951-1957.

FIVE YEARS PLANS.

The First Five-Year Plan (1955-1960), the Second Five-Year Plan (1960-1965), the Third Five-Year Plan (1965-1970), the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan,

SOCIAL ACTION PLAN AND NEP:

The Social Action Program (1993-1996), and NEP (1998-2010) were launched. In every development plan, the government of Pakistan made commitments to increase literacy and ensure compulsory education at the grass root level, but so far, not all those commitments have ever materialized.

GREATER IMPORTANCE TO HIGHER EDUCATION:

Higher education has received greater attention, while primary education has been left unattended. There is Higher Education Commission (HEC) to plan and execute policies to enlarge preferably foreign-qualified PhD in Pakistan, whereas for education at the grass root level, no serious effort has been made to execute policies to ensure quality primary education.

FREE PRIMARY EDUCATION TO ALL:

In the government's education policy, the importance of giving full attention to compulsory primary education to all at no charge is strongly emphasized and targets of achieving literacy and 100% enrolment of students at the primary school level are prescribed, but no appreciable results are achieved.

CONCLUSION:

Pakistan needs to educate its masses to a level where they can understand their responsibilities and that of the governing bodies. They must be able to earn their living and contribute to promoting the welfare of society. This is most urgent and must be accomplished without further delay and calls for a sincere and dedicated effort to implement a carefully designed course curriculum of compulsory education for all.
The purpose of education is to empower everyone in all ways, to be better persons with love for oneself, others and the nation. Education is a lamp which should kindle the fire in preparation for adventures of life.

Try to think of examples of modernization theory in education. Explain the example and how you see it as connected or inspired by a modernisation theory outlook on society and the purpose of education

In this globalization and modernization era, Indonesia as an expanded country is trying to improve in various fields, technology and information development in this era have caused changes in various fields like the economy, politics, society and culture. Besides causing a positive impact, this development also caused a negative impact. For example, technological development on the internet has caused some negative impacts like sarcasm, insult, materialism, and hardness. The education process whether formally, or informally, becomes a pillar to bore a new generation of Indonesia with a strong character. This strong character is marked by moral capacity like sincerity, an individual quality which differentiated from others and obstinacy to face hardness. A strong character can be obtained from a brilliant education system that not just emphasizes intellectual intelligence, but education based on belief in God and fear and also able to give the creation which useful for religion, country and people. An education that contains the two main elements, that is superiority in academic and non-academic (including moral and spiritual superiority) is needed.

We spoke in class about the emphasis placed on vocational education and developing technical skills, which is a limited view of education. Can you think of other examples It might be a policy, and the inclusion of computer programming classes in schools. Or

it might be conversations with friends or parents

Recognizing the rapid increase in the unhealthy use of the Internet and social media among its population, the Korean government launched its plan for Internet addiction prevention and treatment. This plan has many components starting with prevention interventions with preschool children and their families. The policy includes Internet addiction prevention programs for all age groups, a public campaign to increase awareness about the proper use of social media, and the development of a measure to assess Internet addiction proneness. The government is expanding considerable resources to prevent Internet addiction across the lifespan through school- and employment-based programs, school curricula interventions, training of counsellors, and after-care services for those completing addiction treatment. The Korean program addresses a societal need, that is Internet addiction, through universal, selective, and indicated prevention, attending to the risk and protective factors, and addressing a major societal problem through institutional change and government policy.

Possible reform that could be taken for environmental sustainability:

The factors that are critical to enabling educational institutions to undertake the transformational changes necessary to embed environmental sustainability into all areas included:

a strong policy environment

resourcing of strategies

encouragement of leaders and environmental sustainability advocates.

Educating and building the awareness of staff of the importance of environmental sustainability to future generations is key to a successful strategy.

.

.

This wonderful image depicts the presence of God Almighty in our lives will make our future meaningful, and wonderful. All over the world social, national, and international movements are being carried out to bring positive change globally. Because the future depends on what we do in the present.

Participation in decision-making

Think about a time when you made a decision:

When I was in my B.Sc. (2016), I decided to be an educator, join the field of teaching, and carry it on as a profession.

How you came to the decision?

In our society and all over the world teaching is considered a very respectable and safe job for females. Also, by taking tuition at home I recognized my passion for changing the lives of my pupils through my personality and effective teaching methodologies.

How did you learn to make decisions?

Mostly while making a decision, I consider the pros and cons of that decision in present and future. I also seek God’s help in my decisions.

Did you include in school decisions?

Yes, being a member of the school staff, opinions, suggestions, and decisions are taken by everyone’s consideration. I am also a part of it.

Did you make your decision alone?

It depends upon the situation, environment, and the type of decision to be made. But yes, sometimes there are situations when I must make decisions alone. Because it’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.

Did you work with someone, consult an expert, or talk to friends or family?

Yes, I do. When something is going on in my mind. When I have an opinion in me. I always try to discuss things with other people. Listen to their life experiences and mentality. Critically, think over their suggestions, opinions, and sayings. Hearing whatever they have said I then go for a decision. I feel consulting an expert or talking to friends or family is important. I stay committed to my decision but stay flexible in my approach.

How valid do you see the concept of an individual deciding their path in life?

It’s human nature that whatever we do, we need people in one way or the other. An individual deciding their path in life is need of time but if he/she feels unclear or has ambiguous emotions then he/she must have consultations with other people too. But consultation with the “right person” is also necessary and challenging. A wise man makes his own decisions, and an ignorant man follows public opinion.

Write on your pad let about how you make decisions.

I always make decisions that prioritize “my inner peace”.

For that, I always Pray for God’s decision to be fulfilled in my life.

I usually take the following steps to plan:

Brainstorming in my mind, heart, and soul about the concerned decision to be made.

Discuss with my friends/family/colleagues etc.

Listen to them

Critically think.

Pray for God’s decision to be fulfilled in my life.

You are better at decision-making now than you were when you were 18?

I used to rely on “my parents for all my decisions”. They have trained me gradually. Now, to some extent, I am a better decision-maker than at 18 0r before it.

“
