So this story took place when I was around nine or ten years old but it's very clear in my memory.
So it was my second time in India, I believe and I was having the time of my life. I was visiting so many places and meeting so many people, it was great. This story comes from when I visited Rajasthan, a place in India near the Taj Mahal. My relatives lives in New Delhi so that's where I was staying. Around a 8 hour drive plus traffic. I was in it for the long haul, even though I have terrible car sickness.
Along the two hour mark, we'd stopped for food. We went to this small plaza where I got a sandwich. My mom had told me specifically not to to get a cheese sandwich but I didn't know why, and when I ordered she was in the bathroom. So I ordered it, being an ignorant ten year old, and honestly a terrible decision on my part. The sandwich was so bad and made me feel like crap. I didn't want to eat ever again.
So we drove for 4 hours to get to Rajasthan, me holding my stomach, praying not to vomit and lying in the backseat. So we get there and order lunch. This restaurant was supposed to be the very best in this region so my mom wanted to got there. So we went there and I tried to eat. It just wouldn't go down. It sank like a rock in my stomach. Suddenly I felt something coming up. This restaurant was on like a second floor so I rushed to the balcony because for some reason they moved the trash can where I went before if I felt like I was going to puke. I started vomiting, like uncontrollably. There was a guy walking in the alleyway below... and you can probably guess what happened next. I ran and didn't look back down.

The first time I realized I wasn't half bad at something. Growing up, I wasn't always the best at the sports I played. When I was about ten, that kind of changed. I started working harder, training in my freetime, doing exactly what'd I'd been doing before. It never really paid off and I was always put on defense where all I would have to do is clear the ball.I hated playing there so much. It was the absolute worst.
So the first game was such a long drive. It was like 5 degrees out and I froze. We did our check-ins with the referee and went over for position. For the very first time, I got placed at Forward. I made sure to take that chance and secure that position. I ran for every 50/50 and tried to make the best decisions I could. It ended up paying off as I got to play striker for the rest of the season.

When I was younger, I used to follow everything my older sister did. It didn't matter what it was, if she was doing it, I was too. This also meant following some of the dumber things she did. I really didn't think for myself at all considering I was 3 years old. This story has many differentiations in my family which is funny. Like there's multiple other stories which are similar to this one, taking place in my home.
In my old house, we used to have a fairly secluded basement. There was a long stairway leading down but the stairs were carpet so my sister and I would roll down them everyday. My mom was upstairs in the kitchen so she obviously couldn't hear anything. My sister started cutting my hair and it was horrible. I had no clue what was going on, but I was dead silent. I didn't move at all. The barbie doll lost her hair after me and she was way worse off than I was. She was basically bald and I had only lost 2 chunks of hair. My mom came down and started laughing, it was really weird. I didn't know what she was laughing about but she took pictures of me and my sister

Pee cup?!?!

When I was younger, I used to get sick a decent amount. It was for about a year or so, but after it finished I started visiting the doctor regularly. I knew him by name and he'd always give me these square lightning McQueen stickers which I'd put on my bed along with all my other stickers.
When I was two, I went to the doctor for an annual physical, as you do. The doctor gave me a cup to pee in since they have to test it in the lab. Now as a two year old, I didn't really understand why this was necessary at all. But nonetheless, I obliged and took the cup home. When I got home, I didn't really have to pee so I waited a little bit. Then I found a regular drinking cup, and peed in it instead of my normal cup. I then, brought it to my mom who asked what it was. I told her it was pee and my parents burst out laughing. They threw away the cup and I remember being fairly angry considering it was my favorite cup.
