The parents aso suffer from this in the fact that they feel sad that not only have they lost a wife/husband, they loose their kids and they feel like they've ruined their kids lives. They're filled with sadness, anger, guilt, and trouble. The kids are the most affected, because they never want to see their parents argue or be seperated from their parents. 
The parents feel the most guilt due to the affect the divorce has on their kids.
