As we began to change from Adobe Connect to Jigsaw, I was not really concerned about the change. How different can it be? Well, very different. I have found that this platform is so much more front-ended in term of preparation. I find myself in a session, and the teachable moment disappears when you realize that asset is not loaded.

As I reflect upon best practices for setting myself up for success prior to synchronous sessions, I feel that I am organized for finding and planning the needed assets. I have been teaching for 29 years, so finding the information and uploading it is not an issue. I just find it frustrating to not have the "unknown" asset I need when a student asks me a question that I want to address. The "out of place" question is always the file or image that is not currently loaded. I wish that I could just copy and paste the item in for them. I find that I need to place assets from adjacent modules to the one that I am currently teaching.
