I just wanted to remind you both that even though the negativity may seem loud, there are so many people quietly rooting for you, praying for you, and wishing you nothing but happiness.

Watching people go out of their way to tear down another Black woman over a television show has been heartbreaking. We often talk about protecting Black women and celebrating one another, so it’s difficult to see so much cruelty directed toward someone simply for following her heart. No one deserves to be mocked, dehumanized, or made to feel less than because of a reality TV show.

Titi, I hope you never lose the confidence that made you stand tall and choose what felt right for you. Never let the opinions of strangers make you question your worth. Continue to walk in your authenticity because that is something no amount of hate can ever take away.

KC, thank you for standing beside the person you chose. The love, respect, and reassurance you’ve shown have not gone unnoticed. It’s refreshing to see someone stand firm in his decisions despite all the outside noise.

As a Black woman, this has been especially emotional to watch. My first experiences with bullying came from other Black girls, but I made the decision a long time ago that I would never let those experiences stop me from celebrating other Black women. We have enough people trying to diminish us. We shouldn’t do it to each other.

I truly hope that when this chapter ends, what stays with you isn’t the hate but the overwhelming amount of love that exists for you both. You two are honestly my favorite couple I have ever watched on Love Island. I’ve watched the UK version, different seasons, and a lot of Love Island shows in general, but something about you two felt different. To KC: As a young black man myself it hurt me to see what you went through on that show. People have to understand that you are a human with real feelings. I have seen your excellent character throughout the show and examples of it off of the show. I remember seeing your kindness towards your peers on the show and that is why you were one of my favorites from the start. One moment that stood out to me was when Melanie was upset about Sincere and Sol, and while others encouraged her to go up there and interrupt when her emotions weren’t regulated, you were someone to dissuade her from escalating drama and tension and stopped her from potentially hurting her image a lot on national TV. Seeing your kindness is a large part of why seeing all this animosity towards you bothers me. It honestly hurt me to see you getting cursed out and ganged up on, while they didn’t let you get a chance to talk. I know how that feels and I don’t know if I would have been able to handle it as well as you did. So honestly that was inspirational to see you keep your cool as best as possible. You did not send the bullying back at the girls and that is also a great show of your character. While I know there is a lot of unjust hate coming your way, know that there is a lot of love as well and please always keep that in your mind.

To Tierra: I want to applaud you for your composure that you kept during your time in the villa. While many people wrongfully label you aggressive and paint false narratives, I saw a strong black woman who wasn’t going to allow another person to get ganged up on unjustly. While your time on the show was much shorter than others, you made a positive impact on me. I saw you call people out when they were wrong and stand up for people when they needed support. I am very sorry that you have to deal with people distorting your image online, because nothing in this world warrants it, and your positive actions on the show should’ve created more love rather than hate.

To the both you: I hope you both know that regardless of what you have went through in the villa and on the internet, you will always have love and support from me and many others. Never in my life did I think I would pay attention to love island cast members after the show ended but you two are people who I believe deserve all of the support in the world. From the very beginning, I've been such a big fan of you, KC. I've literally defended you in multiple group chats and in conversations with people in person. I could see that you're still so young, yet you've already done so much for your community. As someone who is a 23 year old woman who is passionate about my community I connected to you.

It's really saddening to see all the hate that you and Titi have been receiving. It's easy for someone to say, "Keep your head up and ignore the haters," but I'm not in your position, so I can't pretend to know exactly how this feels. What I do want you both to know is that you still have fans who will always support you. I'm very pro-Black, and I will always stand up for my Black brothers and sisters, especially when it felt like y'all didn't have a voice in the villa.

I truly think you should consider not doing the reunion. It often felt like they didn't give you both the opportunity to fully speak, and I'd hate to see that happen again. It's painful watching you not be given a voice.

If you decide to make a statement, I think it should focus on positivity. You can acknowledge the time you spent together in the villa and express gratitude that you found each other. Beyond that, I'd continue showing up at the community events you've already been involved in. That seems to reflect who you truly are, and it's hard for people to argue with genuine service to the community.

If you do decide to attend the reunion, I wouldn't entertain the negativity. I'd simply say something like, "I'd actually like to shift the conversation toward a community event I'm hosting." I also think it would be meaningful for you to appear on a Black mental health podcast that has a female and male host. That would give you the space to speak your truth and have a real conversation about how Black men and women deserve the freedom to express their feelings, grow from their past mistakes, and still be shown grace.

For you, Titi, you came into the villa with people already attacking you simply for defending yourself and KC. I don't know about anyone else in that villa, but if I'm with someone, I'm going to defend myself and the person I'm with every single time. That makes you a real one in my eyes.

You did not deserve the amount of hate you received. I truly believe your breakout moment is going to happen outside of the villa, where people get the chance to see who you really are without all the outside noise. KC, my heart truly breaks for you. Watching the amount of hate, judgment, and criticism you’ve received has been incredibly difficult. No one deserves to have their character attacked or to be defined by edited moments from a reality TV show. While no one is perfect, I saw someone who was trying to navigate an incredibly difficult experience while carrying the weight of constant criticism.

One thing I hope you both do someday is sit down and watch the season back from the very beginning. As a viewer, I felt like so many important moments were overlooked or interpreted in the worst possible way. There were interactions that, to me, showed you struggling long before Casa Amor, yet so much of the conversation focused only on certain moments without the full context. Watching it back may help you understand why so many of us continued to support you throughout the season.

Please don’t let the voices of strangers make you question your worth. For every loud comment spreading negativity, there are so many of us quietly rooting for you, praying for you, and wishing nothing but peace and happiness for your future.
