Appearance of Sonny is that he is a pearlescent white that shines similar to a wrapped car and near his extremely small waist is wires connecting to his bottom half.

The personality of Sonny Is complicated to say because he tries to make jokes when he tries to comprehend human emotion. But due to him not being able to, it comes out as unsettling.

He is one of our central main characters because we focus through his perspective throughout the movie and how robots in his eyes are up to no good. His appearance is that he is black man that has a buzz cut and a goatee that wears a leather jacket, black shirt and grey pants. The personality that he is impulsive proved by his actions of immediately hating robots and finding a way where robots would be tied with the homicide.

The ethical dilemma within the movie "I Robot" is that if the reliance of humanity is based into technology's hands would it become better or worse than how we make decisions now. This is shown within when Vicki the artificial intelligence system is revealed to be the mastermind behind programming all the robots start attacking human beings breaking the first law. Vicki explains that the solution to be able to succeed in getting world peace is to eliminate the causes of war and violence which is eliminating humanity itself. Which challenges the ethics of convenience because the death of thousands of human beings sounds horrible .But the points that Vicki brings up are true about humanity. In conclusion, the ethical challenges that would face within the world of I Robot is the reliance of technology taking over and the truth being revealed of humanity causing the problems to stir the path of world peace.

The rhetorical devices used within the movie I Robot is alliteration and red herring. Alliteration was used within the movie to provide a correlation of Hansel and Gretel to Spooner following the clues to figure out who is behind the homicide of Dr Lanning. Red herring was used within the movie to make us think that the corrupted robot is Sonny instead of thinking that Vicki is the one behind the robots starting a revolution. In conclusion, rhetorical devices allow movies and books to have a larger impact on audiences and cause twists and turns that entertains all.

The societal impact that robots have within I Robot is that more people are reliant upon technology to do everyday tasks and the immense amount of trust within it to perform those tasks. This is proven by the examples shown throughout the movie depicting robots as waitresses and retail workers as well as caregivers for the elderly and for kids. The large impact that does have on society is that more and more jobs would be taken by technology and more human beings would be unable to do those tasks due to not having the opportunity to learn those tasks. In conclusion, the societal impact within I Robot would affect the community as a whole Within the movie due to them unable to complete tasks that they have not learned due to robots taking away the opportunity for them to learn those skills.

The visual aesthetics of the robots within I Robot is that they utilise the futuristic view by utilising white and blue tints to their newer models. Compared to their older models that use darker colours like green brown and burgundy. We are shown the older models of robots during the movie when the newer robots are being released to the public and people are trading their old robots for the newer one. The older robots utilise the colours as mentioned before. Also has an entirely different design: the design of the robots looks similar to battle droids from Star Wars. The newer models have more humanlike faces and their body looks like it ripped in a pearlescent white vinyl. In conclusion, The visual aesthetics of the robots shown within the movie shows the visual change of the society and their robots evolving through colour shape and design.

The portrayal of AI and robots within AI is that they are being banished from humanity and they are being treated as less than human. This is shown within the movie by the way that David's parents and other people treat robots as seeing them something just to play with or to use when needed.

For example, within the movie at Mitch's birthday party everybody stares at David and basically treats him like a toy they start touching him and they also tried to test if he can feel pain by pulling a knife on him. Even if a robot is able to feel emotions similar to a human the society in terror would want to destroy them. In conclusion the robots within the movie are betrayed secondary citizens and are only wanted when useful.

Teddy, a robotic super toy, is shown within the movie that took my attention the whole time while watching because of the advancement of toys getting to the level. Where they can answer any question that a child asks them, they can move around and they can find their way back to the child is incredible to see. Within our time we do have voice activation but only repeat the same words but as what the kid says for example a Furby or the controversial cactus toy. For example when David was being shipped off to the Flush Fair Teddy followed him the whole way on foot to get to that Flush Fair to get David back. That is extreme commitment and great programming for a toy at that level to be able to find a way to find their owner. In conclusion, Teddy as a robotic toy is extremely incredible to witness on screen and what he's able to do and it brings me a great hope to what will happen in our future with toys.

The ethical dilemma within AI is that when having a robot child as the owner is it their responsibility to protect the child from harm or inappropriate things for their age .Since David is a mecca that can feel the emotion similar to humans even more than humans. So it is important for the owners of these robots to take into account that their robot child learns through their actions. For example, David when in the dinner scene with Mitch at the table with the whole family Mitch decides to act like a jerk and decides to shove a ton of spinach within his mouth and show it to David. Since David reacts in copies actions he decides to do that as well causing the issue of David needing to go back and get fixed. In conclusion the owners of robots have the responsibility of understanding their actions and understanding the emotions of their robot or robot child.

Alliteration was used within the movie AI by using the story Pinocchio to represent David's story of wanting to become more human-like to win the love of his mom.

The societal Impact in the movie is that since robots are banned within normal society the treatment for robots is that if they have a purpose and are still useful then they are needed if they are not useful then they are discarded. Since there are a large number of robots. society feels that they need to eliminate it so then it's not a bigger fret this was quoted within the movie itself when everybody is at the flush Fair within the cage. "They made us too smart, too quick, and too many. We are suffering for the mistakes they made because when the end comes, all that will be left is us."

For example we get to witness this at the Flush Fair where all the robots that were captured are broken in a way either missing body parts or Not being up to the times of what robots are at they're all going to be destroyed due to the not being useful anymore . In conclusion, robots within the society affect it in a way where people are terrified of the uprising of them and to combat that they destroy them and they use them when necessary.

Ones that have the face of a human but the body entirely machine, ones that are just screams and many more that are shown. Once I am most prominent within the movie are the ones that act like humans but they are all robots in engineering. This is very interesting to think about because the entire skeleton of the robot is entirely metal and wires. The robots' appearances fluctuate on how the robot is designed. for example, Gigolo Joe is able to change his hair colour. So imagine if you could have an entire robot that can be able to change its height it's weight it's facial structure all by just clicking a button.

The differences between the movie I Robot and the movie AI is that within the movie I Robot society accepts robots as a part of their communities compared to how AI refuses to have robots within their societies and has the entertainment of destroying them publicly. These two differences build out their movies because Spooner within his movie is the only one that doesn't trust robots and the rest of his society trusts in them with tasks and duties, compared to AI where everybody despises robots and only Monica trusts in them.

She is the head of all the company systems and is able to control all the technology within the company. The coolest part about this is that she has a belief system as an artificial being. Her belief system is that humans are sabotaging themselves and need to be erased to be able to succeed in World Peace.

Which movie you found more compelling and why?

I found the most compelling out of the two movies shown to me is AI / artificial intelligence. The reason why I am intrigued with this movie is because concepts they tackle within the movie leaves a larger impact than the other movie as well as providing adventure that is in order that makes sense. This movie tackles the topic of if robots are able to feel human emotion and be able to love and care will people within society accept it for the miracle it is or turn it away and destroy it. Also the storyline within the movie and the adventure layout is nice to understand and builds up to an ending that creates bigger questions after watching. For example, within the movie David's Imagination creates a narrative of the Blue Fairy and he follows along with that story for the whole time to be able to wish him a possible wish that is proven to be an example of imagination that not all robots have. In conclusion, the movie AI was more compelling to me from a story point of view as well as a pacing point of view.

How these movies have influenced your perception of AI?

These movies have influenced my perception of AI by making me wonder how our future with all these outcomes shown in the movies would affect us. The reason why I have these spots is because I'm now worried about the capabilities that this technology could have within the future because we already have problems within our society without AI. Imagine those problems being doubled because of robotics and AI advancing to the point above humans. For example, currently there is an issue within the lack of jobs. If robots were more advanced then there would be even less job options than before. In conclusion, the way that these movies have shaped my mind to see the positives and the negative sides of what artificial intelligence and robots can do for society has immensely impacted me positively.

The concerns that these movies raised for me is that with the innovation of robots being higher than the human population and smarter than the human population the uprising of robots seems to be a reality within our future if we go down this path. The concerns that arise from this is through technology beating utilised in a way positively the negatives can occur where we as humans lose interest or lose motivation into learning which is a driving force for us as humans to learn more instead robots take over that position and take over as a whole. In conclusion, the concern that are in this movies are the same concerns that we will have 20 years from now
