 "Hey Kate you ready to go trick-or-treating?"  "Ye I'm ready now," said Kate. So off they went with their bags. 
 "Wow this bag is getting heavy," " Ye same with mine, probably because we went to a lot of houses," said Kate. "Ye I suppose ," said Sarah.  Do you want to head back now, my arm is getting sore from the bag and it's really dark.," explained Kate. " Ye sure and I heard a strange noise, so let's back quickly," Sarah said. 
 Sarah and Kate live with their parents and their older brother. Their parents were gone out to meet their friends and their brother went to his friend so house. So they're now home alone! 
 They went back and started eating some of their sweets and put on a movie. 
 Then suddenly the lights turn off. They didn't know what was going on.
 "It's probably just a power cut," explained Kate". " Oh wait it can't because then the tv would turn off!" They go out of the room and slowly go upstairs. 
 They heared a strange noise,this time both of them heared it. "That's the same noise I heard when we were going trick-or-treating," whispered Sarah, frightened. 
 They approached the last room slowly. They went in and they sat on the bed that was in there. Then the door closed automatically. They went over to try and open it and it was locked! "Ahhhh, were locked in,"screamed Sarah "Oh no," said Kate. Then they went back and sat on the bed thinking about what to do. Then suddenly someone tapped them on the back. They turned around but no-one was there! Who tapped me on the back, was it you who tapped me on the back Sarah?" No it wasn't me, someone tapped me on the back too! exclaimed Kate. "Lets go back down stairs and call our parents" said Kate "Oh wait we can't we're locked in!" 
    Suddenly the door creaked open. They ran down stairs and a clown popped out of a room and chased them outside. They ran as fast as they could. 
 Theh hid somewhere. When the coast was clear they ran back into their house. They locked the door and checked the rooms downstairs. There was no-one in them.

All the kids were out trick-or-treating ,but my friend Lucy and I were not.We we're going to a haunted house known as the '"THE HOUSE OF DOOM .'" We were very excited and very scared , it was our first time ever going to one. 
 We headed off at around 12am. We had a torch and a hurl (just in case we met something ) When we arrived at the house we saw overgrown trees and bushes ,a rotten porch , bricks of the exterior walls scattered on the dug up front-garden , smashed windows and worst of all a small lit candle light up-stairs!!!!
 The front door slowly creaked open and to our surprise
 it was quiet furnished.We heard a creaking noise up-stairs so we were a bit frightened. We headed upstairs to into investigate.Lucy took the hurl out of my bag.The sound grew louder as we advanced stealthily up the stairs .We started to get very worried and nervous.When we reached the top step we stood and listened , it sounded like a door squeaking over and over again 
      We started following the sound. We passed closed doors an open doors , turned loads of corners till we finally found the room containing the squeaky sound.Together Lucy and I slowly opened the door. We peered in and frighteningly there was a ..........CLOWN!!!! A clown just sitting there ,staring at a wall , holding a small fake bat that was squeaking. We slammed the door and put the hurl on it so the clown couldn't open it. Our hearts were pounding as we were running ,we didn't even know where we were running , but we hopped we we were getting further away from the clown

The eerie house around the corner had always been rickety and falling apart, so I was very surprised when somebody had actually moved into it. I reckoned the family that the family that moved into the house must have been pretty poor, so I thought I would make some home-made brownies to them to welcome them into their new house.
         So the next day, I walked over to the house and knocked on the door. A strange figure answered , he was tall with teeth as sharp as knives and skin as white as snow. He was dressed in a big, black cloak with his collar lifted up. "What do you want?" he growled. "N-nothing" I stammered and I dropped the plate and ran back home.
      The next day I told my best friend Jenny what had happened, but she just said that I was probably daydreaming. So I thought I probably was daydreaming even though it seemed pretty real. 
 But the next day, something on the news made the thought came back to me

Kim, Lauren and Vanessa are 3 best friends. 2 days ago a girl named Alice had moved in beside Kim's house. Kim, Lauren and Vanessa had found the spell that people said "If you looked into the mirror of the burnt house, you would unleash the demon, Stella." Vanessa, Kim and Lauren had dared Alice to look into the mirror and to read the spell out loud, and they said if Alice completed the dare, she would be their best friend. Alice agreed to the dare because she was so desperate for friends. Alice walked into the house and immediately saw the mirror. She took the spell out of her pocket, looked into the mirror and said, "Come demon come, Awake from your slumber, Your husband has trapped you, But that is no longer." What Alice saw next terrified her, staring back at her was Stella the demon. Stella had long black hair down to her knees, you couldn't see her eyes because her hair was covering them. She was wearing a dirty white nightdress. Alice closed her eyes, hoping it was just a dream. When she opened them again, the demon had vanished. Alice ran out of the house, screaming she tried to convince Kim, Lauren and Vanessa that she really had seen Stella. But they all said that she was crazy. Alice ignored them and ran back to her own house. The next day, Alice woke up earlybecause  she wanted to go back to the house. When she got back to the house, she could hear footsteps coming down the stairs, then she heard a voice, Stella's voice. She was saying "You should not have wakened me, now I am coming for you

 As she walked in she saw bats flying and pictures of a family that looked very old . As she stepped on to a dusty carpet she saw something that looked like wind , she stopped and saw many of them now "AAAHHH!" She screamed and ran up the humongous red-velvet stairs . When she got up , it was too quiet. She walked slowly until she saw an open hall ,in the distance Elizabeth saw a mirror ,she walked cautiously. When Elizabeth got there , the door behind her shut."Hello" muffled a voice , Elizabeth got frightened."Come in the mirror " whispered the voice . Elizabeth felt the mirror expecting nothing, but her hand went threw it ! On the other side she felt a very cold and ruff hand pulling her in , she screamed ."HELP!", she shouted .Elizabeth grabbed on to a piano and pulled herself out of the hands grasp . She then ran to the door but it was locked . Elizabeth grabbed a lamp that was on the table and broke the window .As she was getting out she heard the voice say "I will find you " . I kept on hearing voices inside of my head no won would believe me. Then I saw a vision of this monster inside of my head It was real and I new it the monster is coming but what I didn't know was that the monster was me. So after everyone humiliated me the more the monster grew inside me as it grew I started to change more people would beat me slap me hurt me and then it finally hit me. All that pain all that suffering got to me and there is nothing I can do to stop it noting I can do to control it. I rose up and turned into this black swirl of dark magic. I destroyed everything and everyone in my path after all those years of keeping it in I finally let it out everyone I new and loved died before my eyes and even though I had nothing to lose I kept going and I couldn't stop until everything that ever hurt me was gone and I will always remember this day till the day I die.

Ivy brought the pot to the bedroom she got perfume, hand cream and stinky stock juice. Ivy brought the pot to the kitchen she got backing soda, cookies, flour, milk and apple. She looked around and she saw a chest of drawers. She opened the chest of drawers. At the bottom of one she found a DVD. The DVD had what looked like a muddy hand on the cover, and at the back it said “horror movie”. Alice was excited as she has never seen a horror movie before. So she watched it. The movie was about this muddy hand that kidnapped people and the last person to see the muddy hand would always be the next victim. At the end of the movie the muddy hand came crawling towards the screen and the screen went all fuzzy. Alice didn’t know what that meant. So she switched the TV off and went to bed. Then Alice realized why the muddy hand went towards the screen. She was the last person that saw it. So that meant....IT WAS COMING FOR HER!!! Alice tried to remain calm and think that it was just a movie. She finally drifted off into sleep when suddenly...she heard the glass that she left on the kitchen table SHATTER. It waked her up immediately. She went out of her room and called out “ mom, Dad, sis, is that you?” No response. When Alice felt scared she would normally turn on the TV and watch some cartoons. 'This wasn't there before...' I think to myself. I grab the letter and I go back up to my room. I open it and inside is an invitation! It reads: Dear Ashling, I would really like for you to be the victim in my little game. Don't worry, it's just a bit of fun 😉. The address is 19 Willow Brick Lane. Be there at 4:30 pm sharp. Yours sincerely, a friend. (R.S.V.P. 0102030) 'Victim?' I think. 'Well I'm quite new to this town and I don't have many friends. It won't hurt to make more! The invite also said it would be fun!' I decide to text the number, just to make sure it's safe and that other people are taking part. I started to text: Hello, I'm just wondering if anybody else is going to take part? Thank you for the invite! I send the text and almost immediately I get a reply. It says: You are the first to reply. Yes, I have invited others. It's a short answer, but it doesn't bother me. At least they answered!

The next day...
It's finally Halloween Day and I'm dressed up in my cute cat costume. It's 4:25 and I'm walking to the address from the invite. I get to the house, but something doesn't feel right... The house is old and broken down, with cobwebs everywhere. For some reason I feel a slight thing of rcognation, but I let it pass. I walk up to the door and knock. Nobody answers. I open the door and inside the house everything is old. There's no lights so it's very dark. I see a candle on a dusty table in the corner, and beside it is a note. It says: look at your letter. I look at my lette and the address has changed! There's no such thing as magic... How is this possible?! The address is now 14 Park Road. We didn't turn back we walked up to the door Chloe dared me to knock but I was way to scared. So Chloe knocked and then .....BANG!!!!!!. The door fell down so we walked in.                                  As we  walked in we heard the same deep spooky voice "I told you to turn back ". Right aft that the floor fell down and we fell into what seemed like a bottomless pit. When we reached the bottom it hurt a lot. The only way out was the top witch was about 20 ft up.After an hour we heard heavy footsteps  then we heard here's some food we were starving but when the food reached the bottom we weren't hungry anymore. It was catipillars spiders and a cats hart. We waited for three more hours until we heard sirens outside then we heard " you're under arrest". Then we saw a man dressed like a police man he sent down a ladder. When we reached the top Chloe asked him how he knew we were here. He said the neobhors heard screaming so the rang me. (a pawnshop is a shop in America were people trade things in for money) When they got to the pawnshop, Tim saw a pen he really liked and asked his dad could he get it, his dad got the pen and some other stuff and hen they went home. The next day Tim brought his new pen to school. When he was writing a story, instead of writing wonderful it wrote painful, all day the pen was writing the opposite. When Tim got home he threw the pen in the bin, and Buster (the dog) found it and of course he ate it. The next day Buster was acting very weird, Tim knew that something was up with Buster. Then all of a sudden Buster began to float and talk. Tim was shocked and his mother screamed and ran out of the room, his dad came in to see what was going on and then he called the local priest. When the priest arrived he did a excorist on Buster, ( a excorist is when someone tries to get the evil spirit out of the person or animal) and at the end, Buster's head turned 360 degrees around! Then Buster fainted and then got sick, in his puke Tim saw pieces of his head in it!( I know  gross) suddenly there was a big flash of light and the next thing he knew he was in bed.

Dear diary,
I am calling my friend Maria but she is not picking up, I wanted to comfort her because of what happened yesterday, oh wait you don't know what happened yesterday, well I will tell you...

She was watching some horror movies when she was waiting for her parents to come home...the time was 11:50pm and her parents said they would be back at 11:00pm, she tried calling them but they wouldn't pick up...then at exactly 00:00 she saw a man standing outside her window. She screamed. The man was just staring at her... with no expression... at 00:01 the man disappeared, she called the police but when they looked at the place where the man was standing there were no footsteps (it was snowing). But when they were heading out, the saw two large footsteps on the couch, behind the place where Maria was sitting! Her parents never showed up... she is going to the orphanage tomorrow...

Poor Maria has gone missing! The social worker was ment to collect but she was just gone. The police went to investigate, but they found nothing! I just hope she is not hurt.

She ran to the corner and just expected the worst for the future, no windows , no escape routes...

             2 years later (3:00 a.m)

She was just about to head to sleep on the rusty food tray , when she heard ruffling from under the door. "And what would this be?" She began to read, "just saying if I were you I'd sleep with one eye open, but one eye only!-------anonymous" So Laura began to write, " well your not me?!"----Laura. She sent it under the door 🚪. She just slept ( without one eye open) until she heard more ruffling from under the door. This note 📝 read, "can't sleep?"---anonymous. So likewise she replied, "no but maybe I could if you stopped sending notes to me!?!?". After this she just ignored the rest and made it through the rough night.

       ....The next morning....

That morning Laura felt unusually strong 💪 so she started planning here escape. She wanted to try to make friends with the 'anonymous' so he may let her go, but NO he wouldn't budge he just got more evil.

When everything was destroyed we called the exterminators and that house was never to be seen again...

It all came too soon. I was walking up the path it raining heavy. I had my sleeping bag and torchlight in my hand. I turned the knob of the door and walked in. It looked strangely normal except there was one big difference there was dead bodies on the floor! Maybe if I stay in the hallway I'll be a bit safer thought Kate. It was nearly 9 o'clock so only a couple more hours until Kate could get out of the horrible place. Kate  started setting up her sleeping bag and torch. She lay there for an hour but then started to her some noises so bravely went to investigate. Everything looked normal but then Kate saw something move. Then she realised something that made her very scared THE BODIES WERE RISING FROM THE DEAD!!!!!!! Then coming down the stairs were the SLIME MONSTERS!!!!!! Kate got really scared, but as she was a great Gymnast she started to flip and cartwheel over them. Kate then pushed them over and it started a domino effect. The bones scattered everywhere becoming dead bodies again. She then had the slime monsters to deal with.
She grabbed a little stool and began hitting each of the. As soon as Kate hit one it would turn into small blobs. When she was finished she grabbed her things and ran. Kate didn't care if it was not midnight. She knew for one thin, she was never going back to the red bricked building again

3 Months Later after that sitution Kayla had moved house closer to the city.She had a new neighbour.When the family was cleaning up from dinner.Kayla`s new neighbour was staring in with a spine chilling grin.

I entered the house.The house was dark , eerie and dilapidated.The windows were broken and I kept hearing ghostly noises.There was ripped furniture with blood stains on them.On the walls were blood patches and pictures of creepy looking people.I felt like someone was watching me so I turned and looked around,no one was there.Just then the door shut!I started banging on the door thinking someone would hear me.I stopped and turned around.I kept seeing ghostly looking figures running past me.I was terrified,I couldn't resist staying any longer and there was still a lot until midnight.It was only 9:45 pm.
Chickened out!!!
I freaked out so I ran home and told my parents all about it.That would have been the scariest experience of my life! It was very scary and I still have dreams about it. Well, anyway that that thankfully past!
The next day in school everyone was talking about me , even my friends. I wish I never had to do any dare !!!

"Lets call the police" Said Kate. "ye quickly" said Sarah. Wheres my phone gone  " exclaimed Kate. "ye mines gone too," said Sarah.
  Downstairs to their house they have a playroom and there is a big window there. The clown crept in through the window in the playroom and went up behind Kate and Sarah. Then they turned around. They screamed.
Then the clown took off his mask. It was was their older brother and hid friends pranking them! His friends helped with the tapping them on the backs, the noises and the door closing and locking. They were so and at him and his friends but they were relieved it was only their brother!
They continued watching the movie they were watching earlier and had a great night after all.

I reckoned that the family that moved into the house must've been pretty poor,  so I thought I would bring a few homemade brownies to them to welcome them into their new house.
            So the next day I walked over to the house and knocked on the door.  A strange figure answered, he was tall with teeth as sharp as knives and skin as white as snow. He was dressed in a big black cloak and his collar was lifted up. "What do you want?" he growled. "N-nothing" I stammered and dropped the plate and ran back home.
  The next day, I told my best friend Jenny but she said I was probably just daydreaming. I thought I probably was daydreaming even though it seemed pretty real. 
 But the next day, something on the news made the thought come back to me. It said that there was vampires appearing over Ireland to try and take over Ireland. I was shocked. Could my neighbors be vampires? That night I tossed and turned and I couldn't get to sleep. I reckoned that if I don't do something I would never be able to get to sleep for days. So I decided to do something that very night.....
  I pulled on my emoji jumper and my favourite jeans. I didn't know exactly what I was going to do but I had an idea. 
On the news today it also said that the vampires were very weak since they had nearly been defeated by a hero, so the only thing keeping them alive was a crystal that their boss had given them. So  all I have to do is steal the crystal. Easy, right?
 I got my backpack and I put my torch and a bottle of fake blood inside it. (Vampires like fake blood don't they?) Then I crept out of the house. When I got to the door of the house or the haunted house, I started to feel a bit scared. Did I mention earlier that this was easy? Well, it's not.
  I pushed the door open. Creeaak. I took out my torch and went inside the house. I had no idea where the crystal was, so I started searching for it. I practically turned the house upside down trying to look for that single crystal. When I had pretty much given up hope, I saw something shiny under the floorboards. I lifted it up and there it was , the crystal!!!
 I took it and I was just about to go home a voice behind me growled, "What do you think you're doing?" I was so surprised that I dropped the crystal!
          I made a lunge for it, but instead I fell face first on to the ground. "Owww" I wailed. "Serves you right!" growled the vampire.
 I was just about to give up hope when I remembered my fake blood . I ripped open my backpack and got the fake blood and spilt it on the floor. "Blood!" the vampire shouted and started  lapping at the fake blood like a dog. I giggled. I took the crystal and ran back home before the vampire finished the blood. "My family would be very proud of me when they hear about this story!" Imumbled.
