I would get so overwhelmed with work, school, and my family. I ended up procrastinating in every area of my life. The lesson on Eat the Frog had a huge impact on me. I realized that getting all the easy stuff out of the way doesn’t work for me. It ended up making me more stressed out. By doing the hardest thing first I don’t get so overwhelmed. I get the hardest things out of the way first. It was a challenge to get back into learning. Online learning was completely new to me and I had a hard time adjusting. I would read assigned chapters and the lessons from the instructors. I didn’t seem to grasp the information as well as I thought I should. The section on study skills was incredibly helpful for me. The SQR4 study method has changed the way I study for my classes. I’ve noticed a definite change in my understanding of the material for my classes. I would do each question in order and end up not having enough time for all the questions. The lesson on The Smart Way to Take Tests has completely changed the way I approach every test I take. Answering each question in order wasn’t helping me at all. I now understand that I should focus on the questions that will earn me the most points. I think the section about allotting time to each section of a test has really helped me. I’ve learned better time management for taking my tests. I’ve already noticed an improvement on my scores.
