In groups, you will be given a vocabulary word with which you will complete several tasks to be posted on a Padlet word wall.

1. Put names in the left corner, and period in right corner.

2. Write the word VERY LARGE at the top. Be sure it is spelled correctly.

3. Give the part of speech, and define the word.

4. Find clip art to illustrate the meaning of the word. Do NOT just use whatever pictures come up when you enter the word into Google images because it may not actually illustrate meaning. Select carefully. Be SURE to indicate the web URL to credit your source.

5. Create an ORIGINAL sentence using the vocabulary word that gives enough context cues to convey the word’s meaning. Type the vocabulary word in ALL CAPS in the sentence only. Underline the context clues.

6. You will be presenting with your partner, so be sure to plan ahead who is saying which part. You must have equal speaking parts.
