This collage shows my progress in the beginning of Art 1. In the top left, my ability started with stick figures, but I then learned that I can overlap things to give it more dimensions which... Also, I developed my SMART goals of drawing sharks and butterflies (animals in general) which improved by looking at how I drew sharks swimming underneath each other to make it look like its not just flat.

What I learned and practiced about line weight, contour, cross contour, and observational drawing were that when you add these things to your artwork it can add dimension and make our work look more realistic.

I chose to create an image of sharks and other marine life swimming.I learned to use line weight to show how the sharks are swimming underneath each other and to make things look closer or farther. This was my first major art project of Art 1. Critique and rubric results showed my strong areas for example my creativity and color use and my areas to grow were making the lines thicker to give more of a drastic shadow. I revised my work by making the line thicker and shading around where the two sharks overlap.

My object was a Taylor Swift eras tour bracelet. Techniques I applied were shading because shading helps make the object look three dimensional. What I learned from this project was I should use more of my space to make the artwork bigger. Critique and Rubric feedback results showed my strong areas of shading and my areas to grow were adding more shading before I finished my project.I revised my work by adding more shading and make lines darker.
