The "Chaco war" was a conflict between Bolivia and Paraguay. Paraguay wanted the "gran chaco" that is the second biggest forest in Latin-América. The paraguayans wanted that place because there was petroleum there. Unfortunately for Bolivia, there were a lot of paraguayans living in the country, all imigrants from paraguay, and when paraguay declared war against bolivia they turned against the bolivians. One more problem was that "El chaco" was very far from the majority of the people and the soldiers weren't trained. Even Bolivia having that big disadvantage, the soldiers were able to stop the enemies at a the last portion of the "Chaco". For a miracle, most of the petroleum was in that especific portion.

He was an land-owner, and had money, so he imported one very expensive car from the UK so he could drive with the other hand (in UK the side of the steering wheel is the right).

Here are my Great-Grandfather and my Great-Grandmother. They lived on the countryside, having a really small land. They believed education was really important, so my Grandfather studied. The countryside only had a primary school, so my Grandfather needed to migrate to the city to complete his studies. He completed and became a rural teacher, coming back to the countryside.

Here is a picture of the rural Teachers. My Grandfather teached in the countryside. But he was poor and needed more money to live, so he went to the city again and aplied at the best school there. It was risky, but was the only option to my Grandfather. Him and other 200 people applied too, that for the time was a big number. It was revealed that only one person passed the exam with the highest note, that was my Grandfather. My Grandfather's brother married one Miss that had a sister, that was my Grandmother. My Grandfather and my Grandmother married, but the father of my Grandmother didn't liked his daughter to marry my Grandfather, so he didn't gave them any money.

In Huawei, they transferred my father to Brazil, because he was good and the Bolivian market was small. He migrated to Rio de Janeiro, with me and my mother. The enterprise promissed that it will be only for a year or two. I was 2 when we moved to Brazil. We lived in RJ for one year, and then they transferred my father to São Paulo. There my little brother was born. I don't remember much of the first days or the migration, but my mom told me that she used to put me to watch TV and I would often cry because I could not understand nothing. I learned to speak spanish in my house and Portuguese in the kindergarten. At first I confused the languages, and speaked "Portañol" all the time, but I was able to separate the two languages sucessfully. Later, when I was 10 years old, my mom decided to move back to Bolivia. My father was still working in Huawei, so my mother, me and my brother moved to Bolivia while my father was still in São Paulo. We were in Bolivia for 2 years (The pandemic time unfornately). When the school started, I didn't knew nobody, and one month of school, the pandemic started, so I didn't had friends. After the Pandemic my mother decided to move back to Brazil, my father was still there because he could not be transferred to Bolivia. Then I came back and studied in Porto Seguro again.
