- Along with their policy, they had added security protocols and operational policies to improve people's safety

- On July 22, another policy was added
- This policy required all guests under 17 to enter the park with a chaperone
- If however the guest entered the park without a chaperone and was under 17, they would be asked to leave 
- In July 2022 as well, more fights occurred and more people were injured

- Families report that it is "sad we can't control our own behavior and have to be policed" 
- People witnessing the chaperones doing their job realized that the chaperones have to look over thousands of people
- People are uncomfortable due to how both Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm had multiple problems regarding fights
- People are uncomfortable with the fights and are glad Knotts had addressed this and added a policy 
- "It's not the parks fault, it's the people."
- Parents believe that this issue also involves the parents because they drop off their kids at Knott's Berry Farm without parenting them, causing them to be reckless and now needing babysitters
- After the park had opened because of the pandemic, staff were required to work more by being chaperones because of these fights
- "The kids showing up and starting fights for Tiktok recognition are only a small part of the problem. Adults who don't know how to behave or how to treat employees like human beings are the real problem in the park right now."
- Families agreed that the chaperone rule made a big difference to the park
