I noticed as I walked around Liberty park, it was very busy as people took afternoon walks/runs. The park is set up so cars drive in a circular one way, allowing traffic to constantly move. What I also noticed is that there seemed to be a significant homeless population, some even setting up shelter throughout the park. Although I didn't mind this, I can see how this may become an issue if it continues to grow. Some may not enjoy the versatility of the park if they feel unsafe or like they are hindering the daily lives of the homeless community.

There are so many businesses around this area! Residents and visitors of this area have a variety of restaurants and coffee shops all within a walking distance from each other. With the frequency at which these businesses are visited, parking seems to be the biggest challenge. There simply are not enough parking spots for the amount of customers these shops get on a daily basis. This forces people to park in the surrounding neighborhoods, creating a challenge for those residents.

This area seemed to be very busy, which is why a roundabouts are needed to regulate the flow of traffic. With that being said, although this whale design is vibrant and intriguing, I don't see the value it adds to the area. I understand the need for decorative infrastructure in such a well visited area, but this does not seem to correlate with what the city offers.
