         <description><![CDATA[<div>I hope after a lot of cam talk you now enjoy cams as much as I do. I promised I'd post a video showing a couple of ways controlling the (annoying when you don't them to) spinning motion of the cams. This one keeps the cam pretty still. As you can see in the video, the gap between two vertical barbeque sticks poked through the top of the box to the bottom, hold the one glued to the cam follower in the same position. It can slide up and down, but not sideways.<br>Steve</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I initially wanted a rabbit running peeping out only when the other figure wasn't looking. I made a snail cam out of some larger cardboard for the rabbit, so it can move and down a good distance.<br><br>I was able to constrain the blue guy, but couldn't really get the timing figured out, so it just kinda flips back and forth. Maybe it should be a cat or something.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wanted to stabilize the hand and head while wagging the finger and getting the side to side motion. Had to add weight to the finger (some magnets). Used 2 eccentric cams for the hand so the finger moves more quickly. And 2 concentric cams for the head with some stops to get a rotating motion.&nbsp;<br>Courtney</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tethering the two followers to each other introduces some challenges because rotations would cause the string to tighten. To get the kite to flutter and not rotate, I used a few ideas I saw in other people's designs. It didn't turn out as smooth/fast as I was hoping, but I have come to like the inconsistent motion. For the person, I wanted to isolate the motion to up and down so it looks like they are skipping. I added some cardboard to the bottom of the follower to keep the cam centered.</div>]]></description>
