         <description><![CDATA[<div>"My hands are of your color, but I shame / To wear a heart so white... / A little water clears us of this deed" (2.2.82-82-86).<br><br>Answer the following:</div><ul><li>the speaker and the one spoken to (could be himself/herself) </li></ul><div>Lady Macbeth is talking to macbeth after cleaning up the murder of Duncan.</div><ul><li>the context (what was happening at this point in the play)</li></ul><div>Macbeth has just killed Duncan and is in so much shock that he forgot to clean up. Lady macbeth went to clean up after him and also comes back shocked.</div><ul><li>Analyze this passage from the Feminist perspective. </li></ul><div>Women are always seen as submissive and weak. But here, Lady Macbeth shows that women can be as powerful, or even more powerful than men. Power is shown  in her violent actions.</div>]]></description>
