I was blisfully happy when my husband bought the flight tickets secretly and then presented them during our NY party. To weight on my conscience I didn't want to leave my kids but on the other hand that was a chance for us to have some additional rest from the daily routine. So looking up to my husband's decision we started our preparations. My heart leaped when I just went out the airport and enjoyed the sunny weather. But the next day courage failed me as there were heavy clouds and we didn't take the appropriate cloths to continue our trip in rain. Anyway we handled that by purchasing some staff in Rome. My heart leapt when I saw the amazing architecture of the ancient city. But my intense dislike to the prices, not so tasty food at downtown restaurants and unbelievable traffic mess. Nevertheless these minor drawbacks, I left Italy with my heavy heart as it was amazing experience. So now I completely understand that my husband's travelling choices are highly regarded.
