In Equatorial Guinea 25.0% of people are unemployed.  Equatorial Guinea has low income therefore not being able to pay as many people. The wealthier farmers would higher slaves for work. This meant slaves didn't have to be payed. So according to Classic history it states "Those owned by the wealthier landowners survived as they were run using slave labor."  This meant that farmers who did have workers would have to pay them. So less wealthier farmers weren't able to keep up. So the wealthy ran them down. This made unemployment worse. This is because the less fortunate where not able to use slaves and had to pay there workers. This would mean they lost money while paying the workers. In the video I watched it said "It's in communities where they a lots of people but few jobs." this is just like rome. In rome unemployment started because the rich would use slaves to work on there farms. which meant they didn't have to be payed. While others would have to pay there workers. Then the rich would run down the farms which made little jobs. Another part of the video stated "Employers can pay low pages because workers have no other option" This can almost relate to rome. According to the video, "Not many people get jobs because of their ethnicity and gender". This proves to us that sdg 1 relates to unemployment. It's difficult for many people to get jobs because of their race,gender,preference,ethnicity and more.
