Incorporate Cultural Examples in Math Problems- "Maria is helping her grandmother make tamales for a family celebration. They make 3 trays of tamales, and each tray has 12 tamales. Later, her friend Aiko comes over and brings 15 sushi rolls to share. How many pieces of food do they have altogether?"

Math Games- play a game that originates from a different culture such as mancala, a counting game that originates from Africa.

Teach events like colonization or immigration by including Indigenous, immigrant, or minority perspectives alongside the traditional narrative.
