1. Strengthening Animal Health Systems Call To Action: I've now drafted a policy brief plan and a Call To Action derived from this which I am working with Carine to streamline and finalise for sharing with other internal stakeholders for feedback. The aim of this document is to get other livestock NGOs and relevant bodies to put their name and logo to it to reinforce the message and provide Brooke with a robust policy resource with which to advocate for strengthened animal health systems. Covid-19 has heightened the relevance of and need for this work.

2. Farming and Breeding Position Paper: I have drafted a position paper using the information shared by Marcela and building on the existing document developed by Kim. This work is in the revision phase. This is a much needed piece of work given the frequency with which we are asked why we cannot simply breed donkeys as a solution to the decimation of their populations for ejiao.

3. Food Security Report: I am working on a report of working equids' contribution to food security to support our lobbying at the Global Committee on World Food Security in the autumn and substantiate the claim that we so often make that working equids contribute to food security (SDG 2).

1. Writing up coal mine research:
Working with Zahir at Brooke Pakistan to finalise the coal mine research report. This research was carried out May 2019 and aimed to survey coal mine donkey owners and gain key information about their working environment, contribution to the income of a coal mine and their needs.
