I would really love to learn more about interviews, how they work, and the inside scoop on what to ask and what to look for in one. I am a very outgoing person so talking and writing have never been a problem for me but I tend to lose focus easily so I'm hoping throughout this course, I can set goals and accomplish them without major distractions. I am excited to see what this class has to offer and to see my progress as a writer in the duration of this semester!

I would like to further my knowledge on how to report events and which stories are even worth telling. I am used to more formal writing from high school English class instruction and from writing scientific journals, so I would like to learn how to write "formally" in journalism but still have it be accesible. I wish to understand what writing should consist of when it comes to a widely seen and communicated medium such as internet blogs or online news.
