Bringing in a specialist to give a PD is helpful, but when teachers have the opportunity to learn from a colleague, it is much more beneficial long term. Teachers feel comfortable when they learn from a fellow faculty member. When they try new things, they are able to ask questions, problem solve together, and implement new skills at a slower pace. I have several teachers on staff that could help blended learning move forward.
