Memorable Questions: The Good Samaritan.

One memorable question based off of the parable "The Good Samaritan" was "Why might we have expected the priest or Levite to help?" This was memorable because in order to answer this question, I had to put a lot of thought into it. Levites and Priests are usually very kind, so it was hard to answer the question.
Another memorable question was, "What do you think is Jesus's point in having the Samaritan exemplify kindness and care toward one's neighbor?" For this one, I really had to think about it too. I asked myself many questions in order to achieve my answer
The question, "Put yourself in the story, which character can you relate to the most and why?" also made me think. I had to put myself in the situation, evaluate the characters and their actions, and then think about my own actions. In the end, I chose the Samaritan.

Memorable Questions: The Prodigal Son

The first question in the survey that I thought was memorable was "How should parents/people handle the child who wants to do things their own way?" I thought this was a very interesting question, because this is more of an opinionated question. Everyone will have different thoughts, and everyone was raised differently and taught how to do things differently.

The second memorable question is "In versus 29-30, Was the older brother's anger justified? What was his attitude towards his younger brother?". I thought it was important question, because you have to contemplate the older brother's feelings. You have to put yourself in his situation in order to answer the question, which can be quite difficult considering you are not him.

The final question that stood out to me was "Do you think the father was to blame in this situation?" Yet again, this is also a question based on what people think. Some people will say he was to blame, and some will say he was not. I am kind of in the middle. Partially, it is the father's fault for letting the son go off and do what he did. However, the father also might have been wise and known that he was going to come back.
