Once the Abacá fibres have been transformed into yarn, they're dyed using the yarn dying method. This process is more sustainable than the typical roll dying method. This method has also been certified to the highest standard (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100). The White colourway reflects the actual color of the fibers and is not dyed.

Each Abacá plant has several stalks that can be harvested once a year, and also regenerate within one year. The first step is “topping” (cutting the leaves), then “tumbling” the stalks. The leaves are then left to decompose, which creates a natural fertilizer.
